Sorry an injustice to Ronaldo. Best player for the last 15 yearsThe elephant in the room is Ronaldo. The team was limited but looked a much better unit then Ronaldo arrives and the whole thing goes tits up. A coincidence? He obviously still scores goals but at what cost was his signing to the team dynamic and spirit?Total bollox. Yeah Ronaldos the problem. The ultimate professional surrounded by ar5eholes yet the best player off the last decade is the issue. Jesus wept.

Wonder will ticket price affect turnout at the Munster final.Champions league final 50 euro. Id be surprised if that's trut. They were 200 euro face called 10 years ago. But a provincial final should not be 40 euro. 25 is more than enough for a seat and 15 to stand. The GAA have got very cheeky with pricing considering most ground aren't worth the cost.

Yeah very true as to the selection of counties. But it's still a very good listen.Does the BBC GAA podcast primarily focus on teams from the six counties?
No it's much more specific than that
Concentrates on Tyrone , Derry, Armagh and Antrim
It’s crying out for a quigley.
Preliminary roundsHandy for Down. That will be the summer over.
Wexford v Offaly
Wicklow v Waterford
1st round
Southern Section
Wexford or Offaly v Wicklow or Waterford
Carlow v Tipperary
Laois v Westmeath
Northern Section
Longford v Fermanagh
Leitrim v Antrim
Sligo v London
Cavan v Down
Why would the GAA worry about the chanpions league final?? Or the heineken Cup for that matter.GAA have fixed virtually no football next weekend but squashed all 4 Provincial football finals and the Tailteann Cup first round games all on the same weekend. I think the Champions League final also on that day. Madness. Tailteann will get no coverage or attendances that weekend.
Munster Final at 3 and Leinster Final at 5 on the day of Champions League final.
And by the time the annual Convention comes around before Christmas, the usual officers will be elected and probably not even opposed. The cycle of incompetence will continue. And Eugene Brannigan got slated off telling the truth. There is no winning mentality in the various Down football levels bar last years 20s. There isn't even a competitive mentality. And it's the lack of competitiveness that gets most people. Whether your good enough the team should still be as fit and as prepared as any other team in Ulster.
Maloney is very good. While Eamon knows his stuff his voice he could put you to sleep. If a game is on bbc I will watch it over rte. Thomas Niblock is very good. Bbc miles ahead. Sky have upped their game.much better than what they started out with. The rugby lad seems to be gone and the current presenter seems to know about the game unlike the one they started with. Tg4 deserves a mention just for their overall coverage and highlights programmes. Much better than rte. Before the Donegal/Cavan game. Marty Morrissey said he never seen Paddy Lynch play before. Spillane said watched Cavan 3 times(one when his son was playing). Surely he should be looking at the other 7 games they played to get a take on Cavan tactics.
He said it in a way that he was proud of the fact he'd never watched him. Marty is a bluffer same as most of them. In fairness to RTE they have the best commentary duo in Maloney & Fitzmaurice. They should be given every big game between now and the end of the season but I doubt it. But in terms of pre, HT and post match BBC and Sky are absolutely light years ahead of RTE.
James did reference many times that we didnt have the players after the defeats during his recent reign as minor manager. CL and MC didnt have these problems with the same group of players.the 2020 minors were supposedly the best around and mccartan and poacher couldn't get the team to string a pass together.
That Monaghan team were beat by Antrim. Who were hammered by tyrone today. Our Minors have been poor for kast 10 years or more.Minors in knockout action against Monaghan today.Down 0-12 Monaghan 5-13. Another hammering, Down football really is at an all time low, shocking stuff.
Best of luck to them.
Would be nice to see a good performance & something positive.
Is that just based on salary? Or does it take in the cost of living? Houses cars nearly everything bar cigarettes and fuel are cheaper in the 6 counties.Northern Ireland is poor. If you look at income per head, Derry,Fermanagh, Tyrone, South Armagh, North Antrim and South Down would be on a similar level to Roscommon and Monaghan.Take a break from the Indo Seafold and turn to the Irish TimesWho is expected to pay for NI post unification, Itchy, you muppet ? Is it DUP voters?Look at opinion polls, Itchy. Sunday Indo anytime. Southern voters do not want to pay for NI. So NI has to pay its own way. From Terence O'Neill to Michelle O'Neill in just over 50 years. There wont unless the political economy is fixed
And some people still think there'll never be a United Ireland.
Seafood, why do you make such definitive statements about something you know f**k all about lad?
What do you know about fixing NI ?
Yeh, whenever I need to know about the North I read the f**king Sunday Indo. Are you off your rocker.

UK subvention to North irrelevant to debate on Irish unity, it will have dropped to 3bn p/a a sum easily covered by the benefits of unity.
Economic debate on unity needs to move on to policy decisions needed for growth.

South Antrim , North Down and North Armagh are richer , equivalent to Cavan but significantly behind Clare.
It is not enough to deal with the Subvention. NI needs to close the gap with say Munster.
