B&B/Hotels in Clare/Limerick city area

I'm heading down to a christening in Co Clare in a couple of weeks with the family (wife and two young kids).
Anyone know of any good B&Bs or hotels in the area. Looking for somewhere cheap, but decent enough to bring the kids. The christening is in Clonlara, so pretty close to Limerick city.

Castle Oaks hotel in Castleconnell was a nice hotel when stayed there few years ago with lovely walks by the Shannon nearby. Very close to Clonlara too but probably not the cheapest.
