The "throwing the tee" thing is a load of balls nothing in it.

If McIlroy doesn't want to shake his hand or speak to him he doesn't have to. To get subpoenaed on Christmas Eve for what I'm sure McIlroy sees as a bullshit lawsuit is hardly going to get Reed back in his good books.

Rory's not stupid either he knows the public perception of Reed I can't imagine he would have done the same to Mickelson or DJ who have a better name than Reed!

GAA Discussion / Re: Should An Glenn object?

A small referring error that did not effect the outcome of the game has been blown all out of proportion with Joe Wally leading the charge.

Take a step back and have a lie down if needs be.

Glen objecting is absolute desperation stuff. If the GAA succumb to loud mouths in the press and order a replay, KC should politely decline and send the cup up the road in a taxi.
Why do people keep coming out with this line of tripe? We have no idea one way or the other if it had an impact or not on the outcome of the game. It certainly had impact on that passage of play, whether it changed the outcome or not. Even if only 1 in 20 of these last gasp chances end in goals, whos to say it wasnt to be Glens lucky shot? We have no idea and that much is 100% certain.

Are we going to replay every game in which refs make a mistake? The probability of Glen scoring a goal was low. Glen took the 45 before ref blew the whistle. It's the stuff of desperation on their behalf.

It's really not and as with all of these things they gauged public opinion and it's in their favour so they're going ahead with it which is their right!

Fun and games now… will the GAA grant a replay? Will KC play it? If so where and when? Will Glen actually play it or are they making a point of principle??

Originally I wasn’t in favour of a replay but the more the day has gone on I think Glen maybe should object.

Factually the objection is 100% justified but if they’d been playing a Caltra or a Ballinderry type small community club it wouldn’t sit well to do it and the optics probably wouldn’t be great.

That’s not the case here though they’re considering an objection against one of the biggest clubs in the Country who have just poached the 2nd best forward in the country to make up for their failings last season. I honestly think 99% of GAA people will be behind Glen in this instance so why the f**k not? The worst thing that can happen is you lose and sure that’s where they are right now anyway!!

Glen will have plenty of regrets about this game they were more than capable of beating Crokes but silly errors cost them badly and their main men not putting in the performances they’re capable of.

I think they’ll be back again though!

Thought that showed serious balls from Tallon the first minute of his first AIF the easy point was on but he went for the goal and got it a really brilliant piece of play.

Ethan Doherty needs to tighten up his passing and they need more from Glass and Bradley in MF.

It’s fine to win the McKenna cup but we need to get promoted by whatever means necessary!!!!

If we don’t that will be a huge knock back in terms of the teams overall development… we need to be playing and challenging against the top teams and while we were unfortunate last year the level we have been at since the end of the league last year leaves no room for excuses!

I think AI is going to be the new internet and will take over our lives in ways we can’t comprehend over the next 10-15 years!!

Would need to do better than “a fantastic game of GAA” though!
