Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

Does Gavin Devlin still line out for Ardboe and if so where does he play?
Can't remember seeing his name mentioned in any of the Ardboe C'ship matches over the past few years

Seen in todays IN that the Tyrone County Board are taking steps to reassure clubs over
having to play league games without their county players in a year with an increased threat
of relegation.

Anyone know what the "steps" are supposed to be?

Anyone have an idea of the amount paid by Gaelic Life to the Ulster Council for Sponsorship of the McKenna Cup?

Tyrone / County Convention Tonight
December 12, 2006, 12:26:46 PM
The county convention takes place tonight in Beragh.

Anyone know who is up for election/standing/opposing?

I know there is a fella from the Beragh club standing for treasurer against the current incumbent, Seamus McDonald

Tyrone / Stewartstown V B'macnab
December 06, 2006, 11:39:08 AM
FROM HOGASTAND:

The Ulster intermediate football club championship is unlikely to be completed in the calendar year as a result of the fall out from incidents at the end of the Stewartstown v Ballymacnab quarter final.

The Ulster Council set up an official investigation into those incidents and the special committee has now completed its deliberations and reported back to the Activities Committee of the Council.

The next stage is that named Individuals and both clubs will be summoned to a disciplinary hearing which will be convened within the next two weeks, where stiff penalties may be handed out. No decision has been made as to whether that drawn quarter final will be replayed or not. That decision will be made when the disciplinary process is completed.

There is still some time though to sort those matters out as the Ulster champions are not in All Ireland action until February 18th 2007.

Yes Tyrone do use it.

I believe it is the most fair system. You also get reward for winning the championship in that you get
promotion to the next division.

In Tyrone 2 teams from each league go up and 2 down.
The league and championship winners go up.

Yeah, very dangerous forward but he can fairly go through the clubs!
Derrytresk, Brackaville, Derrytresk, Glenavy

By the way, his younger brother Eoin is a useful forward for the Hill
