I found Breaking Bad very tedious. It only livened up the last  few episodes.

I think part  of the problem was there was  nobody to root  for. You need somebody to cheer on , but they were all arseholes, particularly the wife. She did  my head in .

It was a  hard slog getting  through it. No way could I sit through it again.... Bitch!

Quote from: Blowitupref on October 10, 2024, 05:24:13 PMOne quick question @AustinPowers are you familiar with the views/opinions of Marjorie Taylor-Greene before reading about her Conspiracy Theory?

No. I never heard of her. Just caught  a headline of what she said. But I've heard  it said before about  weather control.

So , forget MTG. Is weather control  possible (given the posters above stated  it can be done at a micro level)?

Quote from: seafoid on October 10, 2024, 03:33:55 PMFar more than 42000 have been murdered.

Upwards of 150k more like. Men, that racist emmigrant is an absolute disgrace, best avoided.. Like who spends so much time on a gaaboard and never discusses the gaa?
And mods let him justify genocide... 🤷

Maybe the mods actually read my posts (unlike most of the people on here)

I have never once justified genocide, nor have I uttered one racist comment on here.

If you have evidence of me doing either please feel free to forward it onto the moderators and request that they ban me

My questions are what did Hamas hope to accomplish by their actions on October 7th and how did they think Israel would react?

Lets not start the conversation in 2023.

The question should be what do Israel hope to achieve by keeping millions of people in an open air prison for decades?

What did they think would eventually happen?

You beat me to it

Quote from: AustinPowers on October 10, 2024, 12:28:08 PMThis 3 players up  top is nonsense.

Let's say the ball is hoofed out of defence , and a forward  runs towards the ball , but stops  at the 50 yard line like he's   reached the edge of a cliff, and can't go any further because that would mean only two players are  within the  50

How are officials supposed to police that? And how are players supposed to suppress their natural  instincts  to go for a ball, then stop  going for the  ball?

Same way they stop for the sideline, end line etc etc??

Aye but you're only looking after yourself  in those situations.

You don't have to look  down the  sideline and count how many of your players  are  behind  it

With this new rule , if one forward  runs over the 50 at the  same time another runs into it. Jaysus you'd need  super slow motion to  determine that. How are officials to see the likes of  that in  real time?

Quote from: Keyser soze on October 10, 2024, 10:11:02 AMMust say I like the bit of argybargy for the 4 man throw in, about the only time a bit of physicality is still allowed.

Instead of a 2 v 2  throw in argybargy, the second midfielder will drop back to his 50 yard line , where  he'll help his CHB wrestle  with the  opposition's CHF. Same on the  other 50.

So it's just  moving the problem. I say prob, a bit of pushing and shoving at the throw in  hardly the worst thing  in the game.

It  just  sounds like new rules  for new rules sake

The 2nd midfielders actually start the game off the field at either side of the pitch strangely enough.

Ah ffs. This just  gets worse

These FRC boys needs chasing

Reminds me  of Father Ted telling  the old women  to go home to their husbands.

"Remember when your husband tried to  heat up his dinner... and lost a leg". (Or along those lines)

Quote from: whitey on October 08, 2024, 07:05:46 PMSo we have unanimous condemnation of Israel's response to the October 7th attack, but not one person is willing to share what they think an appropriate response would have been.

Secondly, not one person (well maybe one) has been able to articulate what Hamas hoped to achieve by their actions on October 7th.

And BTW-saying that this "all began long before October 7th" is another way of saying the Israelis had it coming to them and deserve everything they got

Man leaves his house every  morning. As he walks past his neighbour's house  , their dog is sat minding his own business,  so he  sticks his boot in the dog for no reason. He does this  for years until one day the  dog sees him coming and  runs up and sinks his teeth into  him, drawing  blood.

Man takes his gun and  shoots the dog. Then  shoots every other dog in  the vicinity.

What did the  neighbour's dog hope to  achieve by biting the man?  Him and  all his dog buddies are  now dead. What a silly dog.

Man's neighbours  shake  his hand for  blowing the heads off all those troublesome  dogs.

Anyway, back to  that cake making show....

Quote from: Rossfan on October 08, 2024, 01:38:54 PMAnd Hamas fired off some from Gaza last week.

45,000 dead and probably twice that maimed and still War criminal Netanyahu and his arms and money suppliers haven't "won" their "war".
Why are these cnuts allowed to invade and bomb, murder etc a Sovereign State and the World looks the other way?

The world isn't. Governments are.

But since  governments are there to be  sales reps for their buddies in  the arms industry (among others) , its not really  a surprise.

Can you only miss  one county game?

You can elect not to buy one championship game. Of course, you do not have to go them.

Didn't think you  could do that. I thought you had to get  your season ticket scanned at the turnstile for  it to count towards your All Ireland  final ticket?
