Terrific stuff. The Stephens Watson and Nolan will be w**king away furiously on the airwaves on Monday.

A mention for Remco Evenepoel btw as well. 3rd in his first Tour de France a fortnight ago and now Olympic champion in both the road race and the time trial, to go along with a pair of rainbow jerseys over the last couple of years.

Pat Hickey getting arrested bollock naked in 2016 must have been a turning point for Ireland in the Olympics.

Preserving perks like premium tickets, staying in 5-star hotels, isolating potential challengers, and bullying the sporting bodies were more important than success.
He was cut from the same cloth as John Delaney. The sport suffered while he milked it.

Femke Bol, what a run, looked to have far to much to do, brilliant stuff

Ireland's time in the euros would have gotten them a 5th place finish today

Down's Andrew Bree is a very good swimming commentator on RTE. They have had good experts on in fairness.

gallsman

Terrific from Alfred, winning by daylight. Sha'Carri shat the bed again.

Just seen the highlights looked like she was out for a jog around the track there. Her style and technique is superb.

Great fight by Kellie Harrington.

Turf

Brilliant from Kelly Harrington.
Great Boxing.

And yet one judge thought Harrington lost. Wtf

From the Bunker

The relief for Kellie was as much about getting the Judges cards as winning the fight.
She knew she had won the fight - but you'd never know what could happen.

And McLaughlin-Levrone will still obliterate her.
