Captain Obvious

Some jump by Armand Duplantis and his girlfriend is pleasing on the eye also.

Gutted for poor mageean  :(

Controversial for kipyegon in the 5000. Be interesting to see if any appeal or not.

They might, but surely it can't be accepted. The way Kipyegon grabbed her can't be allowed.

I only watched it back on twitter there and yeah I would agree. Steve Magness on twitter thought kipyegon was hard done by but watching back not so sure.

Did you not see the clip of the boy in qualifying the other day knocked the bar off on the way down with his flopping, ahem, package?!

Kipyegon gets her silver back. Wounded animal for the 1500.

Sad news for Ciara not able to compete at the Olympics and with her being 32 it's hard to see her being around for the next Olympics.

Gutted for her and the family, but no matter what happens now she's still some athlete.

I think RTE were near sticking the boot in too (only saw a brief bit online). That event is one of the most stacked events there is and she still was up there with the best. They were claiming she shouldn't have done the euros because Laura Muir didn't sure Hodgkinson did and look at her. Easy to say these things in hindsight.

Yeah definitely another world in her but not sure on olympics which is really sad. I still think there is every possibility she gets a retrospective bronze for the world 1500 last year with Hasan in it. Could be wrong but really have my doubts on her.

What's the split with the coach all about? Seems strange timing?

imtommygunn

Who split with their coach? Haven't heard anything there.

Ciara has apparently, from what I have heard.

imtommygunn

Oh hadn't heard that. Dunno tbh. She was doing well under her so strange timing as you say.
