Yeah there's great hope for her regardless of where she finishes. Still so young.

Can you pos that table up? I love stuff like that.

New Zealand must be up there as well. Notable others would be Australia and Holland.

Actually just looking down the medal table surely St. Lucia have to be top of that table. 1 gold for about 200,000 people

burdizzo

Ireland is top with one gold per 1.755 millions; NZ second with one per 1.757; Australia third at 1.886; then Croatia, Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, Serbia, Hong Kong and South Korea at 4.709.
Sorry, not sure how to put up the table as an image here.
Also, not sure why St. Lucia didn't feature?

Captain Scarlet

As they were saying the fact that she knew what went wrong for her is serious and she can correct it. And, I say wrong, but she had just qualified for an Olympic Final. That's her level in fairness.

I hope she performs and is happy. Some serious racing these last few nights in the likes of the 1500m and 400m for men. The 400m women's hurdles will be class too.

them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Look-Up!

Yeah really hope she performs, matching her PB or close. Don't care about the medal as I think bronze will be sub 49 and too much to expect off her yet, although not necessarily beyond her.

People are talking up the women's 400 hurdles because everyone's in love with Bol. The reality is she's, while phenomenal in her own right, not even close to being in the same league as McLaughlin-Levrone. If she performs, she wins handily. Bol needs to run the race of her life and SMcL to have a meltdown to trim.

McLaughlin-Levrone is a serious athlete - potentially one of the greatest ever I would say. Bol fantastic too but her pb is half a second quicker or something mad like that.  She has one of the quickest 200m times this year - and she's a 400 hurdler. Mad.

Outstanding from Tebogo to win the 200m. Lyles well out of it in the end.

imtommygunn

He looked to be cruising too.

Lyles didn't look well. Almost looked like he was having a heart attack. Rumours of covid.

I hadn't been paying attention to this event, but that was phenomenal. Perhaps Tommy should post tips for the bookies.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

imtommygunn

You'd not have many more than the 400 finalists capable of running that time without hurdles never mind with them. She'd win the 400 easy too and probably challenge for the 200 if she wanted to.

Bol disappointing. Maybe tried to hard to stay with McLaughlin and tired herself out hard to know. Looks very disappointed. Probably would be frustrating being that good and still being second best.

More than me on here predicting it. Half a second pb difference, now more, is huge so it was never an outlandish prediction .
