Re: Aoife O'Rourke fight.

According to Eric Donovan, he thought it was too tight to call.  The Polish lassie was very aggressive from the off and it clearly upset O'Rourke.

Ref was very lenient to the Pomish girl for constant holding and pulling.

Bronze for Lynch and Doyle. Is there a pill I can buy to give me the physique of an Olympic rower?!

Ask the Romanian crew ;)

Ridiculous, probably turned him on, beating up a woman
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

the Algerian was disqualified from last year's World Championships for failing gender eligibility tests.

Its a sham. If the IOC aren't careful this will spill into other sports and women will start refusing to compete

Boxing is a very particular case. If a man gets into the women's discus throwing then they might beat them, but they would be beating them, if you know what I mean.

I'd be pretty open minded but that looked so wrong and the IOC and whoever is responsible for Olympic boxing really do need to have a look at that.

The power difference was pretty obvious for two people meant to be the same weight!

Are the IOC not now in charge of boxing as the IBA were given the boot due to previous charges or corruption and incompetence. Anyway it's a disgrace. When Chess is introduced into the Olympics let men and women at it but it's a joke that something requiring physical power allows men to hammer the head off women. If the inevitable happens and they win Gold the silver and bronze winners should refuse to take their place on the podium.

Looks like we caught a break there with the sailing final abandoned due to not enough winds. Still alive.

weareros

Second Skiff sailing final attempt now abandoned again due to lack of wind. Which helped Ireland who were being edged out of medals by Croatia.

What age were these two lads when they transitioned?

Poor Caster Semenya, born and raised female but isn't allowed to run at the Olympics,  yet two boys can batter women.

I don't think this is a case of transitioning from what I have heard today. I've also heard that a lot of the controversy is coming from the Russian boxing body who lost control of the IOC boxing administration.

So a lot more to this story than meets the eye.

"🇩🇿 The Algerian boxer everyone is talking about was born with a vagina.

Yes, Imane is a woman, she was born a woman, in Algeria, where lunatics who change their gender are prohibited very strictly, if not with the death penalty.

However, she suffers from hyperandrogenism (androgen levels in the blood higher than normal), a disease that results in a testosterone level higher than normal and xy chromosomes.

This is a natural disorder.

I too fell for this fake news, but I did some research and discovered the truth.
"

Need a bit more digging into this one...

Kellie Harrington beat Imane Khelif in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo allegedly..

Yeah I have read that too. Could be more round testosterone levels etc.

The general problem I think is still a problem but this person being vilified and tbh it's boxing authorities / rule makers etc who are the real problem more than one individual.
