Quote from: Armagh18 on November 13, 2024, 11:46:51 AMClimate change is real. But it is being used as an excuse to tax the shit out of us which is disgraceful.

What's changed in your yearly tax from 5 years based on your findings of being taxed the shit of?

Dont know if you're being stupid or just twisting per usual MR

Quote from: Mourne Red on November 13, 2024, 10:16:51 AMThis climate change bollcoks again.. Apparently we've had warmest year on record, yet everyone and their mums had their heating on through summer.

Sooner people see it's just another way to tax the shit out of ordinary people the better.
Put on your tin foil hat and visit Valencia in Spain.

When do you want me to visit? Because it has experienced flooding for the past 100 odd years.. 81 people died in 1957, suppose that was climate change?

As AP says about all the leaders etc.. It's like people don't want to do some research, taxing people on what they eat ie Meat/Diary - then why not make farming more accessible in each country so relying on less imports?

Labour - Tax farmers more

China and India make up over 40% of the pollution, why's the responsibility on UK/Ire to cut pollution? Already 50 times less.

Benny, you've been here long enough to know what BTC does every 4 years.

"This time it'll be different".  Yeah, right  ;D

If it could pop into some of my Alts it would be lovely

One to watch - Johnson will be back in charge of Tories (or will try to be) for 2029 election. I think he'll say if Donald can do it why can't I

Ran a terrible campaign.. Was sneered at by the "know alls" on here but refusing to do Joe Rogans podcast under same terms Trump/Vance done, with the platform he has was stupid.

Trumps vote with young people increased and that was probably a contributor

Quote from: tiempo on November 03, 2024, 11:52:01 AMIf Arteta is to win the league it'll be Mourinho style with an imperious defence, there's no shame in that but it looks unlikely this year

I have no sympathy for recent poor league results having played Saka and Havertz against Bolton and Preston in the league cup, absolute stupidity

We won't win the league - We don't have enough match winders. I get what you say about Mourinho style, but he still had Lampard, ballack, Robben, Drogba and go could win a match on their own

Quote from: johnnycool on October 30, 2024, 08:55:53 AMHas either of these two got a policy of note to discuss?

I mean one of them does if you bothered to look. But they are domestic policies.

And Trump wants to do massive tariffs, round up and expel millions of immigrants, and replace much of the professional civil service with political lackeys.

Why do you keep dropping illegal and undocumented when saying immigrants? Simple fact check says that's his policy not ones who are legally allowed there

Quote from: Eamonnca1 on October 27, 2024, 06:13:24 AMTrump: They say that the wind drives them crazy. You know, it's a vibration because you have those, you know, those things that 50 story building, some of them. They have, you know, the wind is rushing, the things are blowing. It's a vibration and it makes noise. You know what it is. I wanna be a whale psychiatrist

As opposed to Harris:

''We have to stay woke. Like everybody needs to be woke. And you can talk about if you're the wokest or woker, but just stay more woke than less woke.''

''When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.''

[on abortion] ''So I think it's very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future.''

The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea. And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring.

The Governor and I and we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time. Right? The significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children and what that means to the future of our nation, depending on whether or not they have the resources they need to achieve their God-given talent.

Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that's wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.

Day and night, what issue do you have with any of the above bar the absolute hypocrisy of the last paragraph?

On the other hand, Trump is a clown of the highest order who literally can't string a coherent sentence together, the fact that he's in with a good chance of being voted in again is really beyond belief.

He done a 3 hour interview with Joe Rogan I think he can string a sentence together just fine.
