Tyrones Philip Jordan has announced his retirement from intercounty football this evening,he informed Mickey Harte of his decision this afternoon.

Good to see Tyrone making headway - It'll be a big ask to get Sam back but I suppose we could build up a head of steam and come good just at the right time.
Some positives from the season so far but still some negatives. McGuigan seems to be getting back to his best, think Cassidy could be vital in the summer if he keeps getting game time, goof is putting in some effort to be fair to him, tyrone NEED to keep sean C's head right or tyrone won't go anywhere (in terms of AI) but signs look good. Need to find replacements for D Harte & possibly Gormley.

Some of the criticism gormley is getting here is nothing short of disgrace.For me he`s still tyrones best defender he`s always up against the best forward on the other team,hes always on a loose loose b4 he starts.Theirs 2 many people on here who havent kicked a ball in their life  wouldnt appreciate how important he is to the tyrone team.

2005 AI semi against Armagh. Slap Slap!

Cav played most of that match in MF, with Enda and Meenan. Bar a big hit on Bellew he was quiet all game until McGeeny got taken off.

Although his best action all day was convincing PtG to take that free instead of Mugsy 

Ok go and look at the DVD  again! He scores two off mcgeeney in the 1st followed by 2 in the 2nd off the same man! Quiet all game-h'uh thats very quiet! If i remember right he was awarded unanimous MOTM awards that day.

Dont know what you were watching in defeat nobody remembers the good preformances,i`d say the match against dublin was the best half back display of anybody in the c-ship his year.Who wud you have on on front of him?

Actually thought Jordan was one of Tyrone's worst performers. Lost more ball than was healthy. Most players put in excellent performances. The forwards put Monaghan under unreal pressure when they tried to come out.

Monaghan were pathetic.

If you'd bothered to read my comments today you'd read how I had Colm up with Gormley and McCarron for MOTM so you're so far wrong it's not even funny. The world doesn't revolve around the Moy. The anti CC club had plenty of members, I was'nt one. Not often Colm puts in a better performance than Sean, today was for sure one. Philly came thought 4/5 times on the break and completely threw away the ball, you must not have seen the game I watched from the Hill.

He's pure fit and I rate him very highly - Jordan, but FFS grow up, he's not beyond a bit og criticism.

Mayb i`m wrong but i wud say he was involved in at least half a dozen of tyrones scores cleaned up on break ball and his support play was very good also.I`II watch the video anyway!

There are 3 goalies in the 30 not counting Hughes

As far as i`m hearing vinny corey is def not playing so that wud explain why their is 3 keepers named in the 30,obviousll hughes will move into the defence instead of corey.

Any word on the injury front?

I presume a clean bill of health apart from  SON and Cass?

Hopefully SON is fit enough to be used as a sub at the least.

Son never trained at the weekend so i would assume he`s not going to make it unless he does a lazarus act,everybody else fit apart from cassidy.

Back to the game 14 wides ,missed goal chances,dropping the ball into the goalies hands we shouldnt be talking about this now game shud have been long over.Their will be no replay,every time theirs a bad decision will be calling for a replay look at the penalty wexford got yesterday you could say it cost galway the game yesterday.Human errors happen as bad as it was.
