Evening all,

I'm a nordie but I'm due to start a job in Dublin in a couple of months.  I'll be in dublin monday to friday and will be home most weekends.

Can I legally bring my car down each week and back up at the weekends?  Will I have to register it down south or anything?

Thanks in advance,
Mal

Good chance for Liverpool fans to see Zamora.

Will this be a record low number of away wins for a title winning team?

I understand one of Liverpool's title wins had only 5 away wins.

The Arsenal players mentioned above don't alll have experience of English football though, unlike Pallister, Sharpe, etc. And, if you believe what they tell you, the Premier League is much more different than other top leagues.

Yes but many of his younger players have been playing in the PL for years?  Clichy, Eboue, Fabregas, Song, Van Persie etc.

For comparatives you can't include the Busby babes it was a different era you didn't even have subsitutes in those days.

I'm curious as to what the average age of that Man U side in 95/96 was based on memory that team's 1st choice would have had Schmeichael the racist in goals, Irwin, Bruce, Palliaster and G Neville in the defence, Keane, Giggs, Butt and Beckham in midfield and Cantona and Cole up front. Also in the squad you had experienced players such as McClair, Parker, Sharpe proven EPL winners. Arsenal's don't have anything like that experience and I love this one-up man ship always been displayed by Man United fans in particular, Arsenal have a young squad either them or Sunderland have the youngest in the EPL, as aside is no wonder Sunderland are looking relegation in the face. So bottom line Ferguson won the EPL that season with a back-bone of experience players blended with youth, Wenger has no such experience players in the squad of his own making I might add.

So this isn't about Man United, it's about Arsenal's young inexperienced squad that lack leaders and in the natural world you would expect them to learn from this chastising experience.

He has Almunia, Sagna, Rosicky, Squillaci, Arshavin who are all experienced.  They're just not good
enough.

Is this the same Sagna that has just been voted to the EPL team of the year, or a different one?

Of course it's the same one.  Can you think of any others?

I shouldn't have included him in the 'not good enough' bracket.

But the others are not.  Almunia and Squillachi are dung, Rosicky is a crock and Arshavin doesn't seem to have the correct mentality.

2 points dropped.  Thought it was a pretty good game considering it was a 0-0.  Also thought both incidents should have been penalties but I suppose these things even themselves out over the season  :P

Hopefully Tottenham will take points off Arselol tomorrow night, I think they will.

Couple of things;

* Firstly well done to United. Probably the best team over the two legs.
* Despite my point above, Chelsea have been woefully unlucky in Europe again. The 'penalty' last week, and the 'goal' this week. In fact the two frees leading to the goal weren't frees either. Sometimes you have to earn your luck though.
* Formation was better for Chelsea tonight, and needs to be the way going forward for this season.
* Ramires is going to be a star, and was a wee bit unlucky tonight.
* Ryan Giggs. 78 years old, and yet player of the tie. What a c**t.
* What the f**k was Nani at coming out of the tunnel? Holding fingers up or some shit?

I think he was praying.  When the anthem was being played he was muttering something too.

Agree re Ramires, looks to be an outstanding player.  A couple of years ago I would have chosen Essien over any other premiership player for United's midfield.  I cannot understand how he has regressed so much.

Great to go through despite the best intentions of the referee.

Sir Alex is truly one in a million.  What a guy!

Sir Alex?   Are you a british citizen?

Yep, why?

Thought so

No Irish citizen would recognise a title like 'Sir' that the Brits invented and bestow upon themselves

Why not?  Why do you care how he is referred to?

What shite are you talking?
:D :D :D

Take a chill-pill galls  ;D

Terry should have been off, United had a good goal ruled out incorrectly and Essien should have been off.

Also, Rooney was felled by Alex at one point and I haven't seen a replay yet but I think it may have been inside the box.

Anyways, haters gonna hate.

So if you disagree with a Manchester United fan you are automatically a hater?
Terry sent off why?
Manchester United goal was offside so was rightly disallowed.
If anything Manchester United fans should be thanking the Ref from the first game as it would have been a different game tonight if Chelsea had got ans scored the penalty they should have been awarded.

Should have had two yellows.

Relieved United went in ahead after being robbed by the ref throughout the first half.

Giggs  8)

Hernandez  8)
