Defending champions out and no repeat of last year's final. FT AET DCU 0-14 UU 0-10
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Bad action from McElholm there!

he should've had a free before he had a chance to swing the elbow.

The DCU no 7 Caulfield from Meath was excellent throughout.

He had the free the ref was obviously giving the advantage. The DCU player was hanging out of him of course but it's no excuse.

Ulster University lacked a spark. Had the opportunity to win it in normal time and blew it.

Yeah i thought they'd at least 2 good opportunities to pull the trigger in injury time and then a scoreable free.

Overall, the best team went through IMO

Yes best team wet through, DCU were more spirited throughout and better set up. UU had all the big name county stars but that doesn't always make a team. Should be a good final. No love lost between DCU and UCD.

Not often I say this but the way the game was it was over and mcelholm had tough evening not the worst way get it out of him. The frustration. He's a good lad and jsit in the moment stuff. Prob soundest man from Tyrone compared rest them dogs

totally agreed there mag. It was a proper spur of the moment swing. Frustration built up all game from both him and his teammates not being able to find the winning score in normal time. Propa sound aswell
