That was a monumental performance from Kilcoo. Seen them a lot already this year but I think that's the most ruthless and clinical I've seen. Maybe the opposition helped a little as they aren't the same quality as in previous years. Watching the other contenders and Kilcoo must be favourites for the AI?

It's great news and fair play to everyone who helped get it to this stage. I'm sure it's been a long road and started a long time ago. Maybe not the best ideal position but surely the positives are to be taken.

Maybe I don't have the right info, but a player coming to the twilight, played for his native county mainly as a sub - And we think he's going to be our full back? He didn't stand out in the semi final against a pacy CNB attack. We've struggled for a FB for a good few years now, maybe since Dan?

Tap and Go is only going to be effective if the play continues to move forward. My guess is the foul will slow it down and the tap and go will end up going to where the free would have anyway. If the 3 players in attack was in force, it might be worth the change.

Look at how the national set up goes for games. The best are normally there or thereabouts come the finals. Each of them has at least two AI finals in the past decade. And I'm guessing countless sidelines on the big days.

Must have been some drink taken alright. Relying on favours from the ref doesn't exactly show confidence in the team to do it on merit either.

Or Liatroim beating RGU. Or Bredagh over Loughinisland. Considering the league forms etc.

I've narrowed it down to 4 now that I think can win it.

But that wasn't the point. There's been a lot of unforeseen results throughout the last month

Good job we didn't run the Championship predictions this year, I'd be well goosed.

I wouldn't be ruling Ballyholland out. In fact, for me they would be my choice to go through

Div 3 is in the same position. Glenn probably safely promoted now but with the next 3 teams it'll be tight. Annaclone v Drumgath now could be massive, CNB took the control out of their hands last night and Glenn to play next week.

Attendance at games has been on the decline for some time, I'm not sure that's reflective of the ticket prices though. Just look at our county championship, a decade ago you would have went to double headers of minor and senior finals without a question with packed venues. Overall the saturation of games and meaningless matches has weakened the game. The atmosphere for county games isn't the same, until we get to this knock out phase we are in - But it takes too long to get here.

Our referee has quit because of the abuse apparently so how would the rule be implemented that every club has to have one. I was at an underage match in the past week and thought we had something going - A coach told a player to stop talking to the ref. Great, well done coach. Less than 30secs had gone before the coach started on the ref. It's in all ages groups, at all levels, in all counties.

From what I've seen there's a real shortage out there rite now. There are fixtures not going ahead because of it.
Poor attendance in Newry, bit of a shame.

I think we are unduly harsh on the referee panel, there's a couple I think would do the job. But Paul is the top in the county so has to be first choice, it would be like having your quarterback on the bench at the Superbowl if he wasn't there.
