Ref gave Tyrone very handy frees mostly though, and is letting them play act and time waste too.

What were you watching. Tyrone hardly had any frees

No idea what tyrone were doing in 2nd half. Kickouts at a snails pace, no structure to the attack or defence
#18
That was a stike.

Tyrone need to get mccurry and Darragh closer to goal.

The simple solution is to run the nhs as if it were a private hospital i.e run it efficiently.

Increasing funding for GPs to reduce the strain on a&e. Alot of people use the a&e because they cant get a gp appointment.

Bring in a surcharge for using a&e for non emergencies say a £50. A&Es should only be used for acutal emergencies i.e broken bones, life threatening emergencies etc.

Increase healthy eating and health awareness in schools from primary school up. Uk and Ireland eating habits are horrible compared to almost every eu country.

The above would sort most of the issues

Ah come on. Anytime a player jumps off the ground and goes flying into a man its a red card, clear as day.dl doesnt matter if he was a saint before hand its a red card.

Quote from: RedHand88 on April 09, 2024, 11:10:22 AMI will add I don't understand the too many games argument either. So what if a county team plays 6 games in 6 weekends or whatever, wouldn't this be standard at club level? It's not like teams are being asked to play multiple games a week. Is 1 game a week over a few months too much?

I agree with this. For example Tyrone if they were to make the All Ireland final via winning Ulster (I know I know highly unlikely but not impossible) they would play 9 matches in 15 weeks from 21st April to 28th July. Is that excessive? They played 8 matches in the same number of weeks in the old system in 2008 though I appreciate they would have had a longer break between league and championship but would have been playing club football in that break.

The issue isnt the players its the fans. If you took a family of 4 to all 9 games in the 15 weeks at todays prices it would cost a fortunate for the tickets and fuel alone never mind actually buying anything.

Say this weekend for armagh fans. 2 adults and 2 kids is £40 plus another £20 in fuel. £60 before a drink or snack is bought.

Bear in mind the costs goes up significantly as the season progresses.

Quote from: Cavan19 on April 08, 2024, 08:47:59 AMI would love to see teams launching kickouts out on top of the opposition goalkeeper when he comes out to stand on one side of the pitch during kickouts it's a great platform to attack and go for goal if they opposition don't win it as there is 65m of open field to drive into.

Agree. Not sure why this isnt done. There is no risk to the team with the kickout but there is a potential for a huge reward

Quote from: jcpen on April 05, 2024, 09:32:09 AMWhat if any supplements and or vitamins are you taking?
Is it worth taking stuff like Omega 3, glucosamine, magnesium etc?

Magnesium, Vitamin D and then protein too. Majority of us have a Mag/Vit D deficiency so I used supplements to get my daily intake of those, been on it past 6 months I'd say its helped me. Protein as recovery from Training/Gym and helps with satiation (keeps you full) so helps keep the snacking at bay.

Creatine good too from research I've read - I can't take it though, found it gives me a headache for whatever reason
Are you drinking enough water? Found that helps while taking it.

Creatine helps the muscles absorb more water. If you aren't drinking more water while taking creatine to compensate then you will get dehydrated and prone to sore heads

Quote from: Eire90 on March 31, 2024, 06:33:37 PMhopefully that shuts up the scrap the league finals brigade for a while.

Why? Topping the league should see you win it not having to play another game of football. In a condensed season an extra weeks rest would benefit players especially ulster teams who have a tough series of games.

Great ending

You get tackled like that 10 times a game, no idea what he's reacting to.
It was in the goolies. Hence the red mist. But wouldn't have been a red card but for the overreaction to it. Didn't matter in the end anyway.

No it wasn't.

Jesus a punch to the stomach or the goolies all hurts which is why the red mist.

Yeah but don't ignore the dirty dive. Gets shoved and goes down holding his face like he's been punched.
