What odds will I get for Dublin to win on Sunday and Derry to beat Dublin in the championship?

Greece weren't up to much a poorly managed Irish team made them look better than they were. Great pitch celebration by Georgia after that win.

Quote from: Captain Obvious on March 24, 2024, 05:49:09 PMDerry have a right good chance at winning the All Ireland this summer. Serious momentum from back to back Ulster titles and All Ireland semi final appearances and Glen winning the club top honour.  Were about 10% off last year and the appointment of Mickey Harte could prove a very good one.

Lets wait and see. I suspect that Dublin are still a bit ahead of them (and everybody else for that matter) particularly in the attacking department. Next week, despite it only being a League final, is a hugely significant game for Derry. If they can win that then it would be another big breakthrough for them and will give them the belief that they can compete to win Sam this year.

Dublin playing too good too soon, they paced themselves last year and were in top shape for the All Ireland Quarter final.  Don't think the league final will count for a lot come championship time belief is already there for Derry.

Shield semi final beat nobody to play in it.  Antrim finished bottom in their group, well beaten in their Derry,Tyrone.  Armagh 2nd in the group losing narrowly to Down who might go on to win the league.

Another bad result for our underage set-up.
Armagh wouldn't be known for being an underage powerhouse, which makes this result standout for me.
Another horrendous beating, and as you say Armagh are no big shakes. Apathy from top to bottom. I genuinely don't know where you'd even start to fix this as we've fallen miles behind and it's been decades in the making. A multitude of issues.

Armagh had success at u16 level last year I believe and have hope to follow that through to minors, with aidan o rourke taking the reigns this year. I would say they are decent enough tbf.

Armagh U15 had success in 2022 also. It's a group capable of winning the Ulster minor title however with Aidan O'Rourke in charge I have my doubts that will happen.

U17 result (shield semi final)

Armagh 7-16 Antrim 0-2.

Results like that are good for no one

No use to either team. Armagh have been winning U15/16 competitions the last few years and Antrim have been getting hammered in games so that U17 result is no surprise.

Awk sure we be in the divsion 1 thread next year not need to worry ;)

Yeh and we will have to listen to the fecking mushroom men in here then.

The stuff used to grow mushrooms would be the best description of the Cavan performance and effort last weekend.

FA cup was Liverpool's to lose and that cup tie in normal time and extra time was Liverpools to lose.

Klopp will have to settle for three trophies on his send off now. league cup won, Europa league low hanging fruit and the win remaining league games and the Premier league title will be won.

Half time all too easy for Armagh and 2-12 to 0-4 in front. Cavan can't be as bad in the 2nd half?

A low hanging fruit competition for Liverpool.  Aston Villa looking a good bet to win the Europa Conference league and helps to have a manager with European winning pedigree.

That's last year's finalists out before the last eight. Not a strong field like the past will go against logic should Manchester City not retain the Champions league title.
