How did you mange to spell lose correctly first then spell it wrong in the same sentence?

 It's 'manage'

If I checked all the spelling on his 3 accounts I'm sure I'd be here all night
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Didn't expect Arsenal to lose like that, be a cake walk for City now, probably win another treble this season which is even more depressing.
Might take Pep leaving to stop their dominance or something to come out of the charges against them, if nothing happens with the charges this is pretty much it for some time to come with them winning the majority of league titles for years to come.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Such an easy run in for Man City, will win the title by 5 or 6 points.

The real story here is that Aston Villa are on the verge of qualifying for Champions League football.
Some turn around for a club that were in the championship not that long ago and that almost headed back there under Steven Gerard.

Doesnt surprise me that Arsenal choked....seems to be expected of them in recent years.
Liverpool slide "post-Klopp" has started while he's still there.
Man City likely to win given the run in.

The bigger picture with Villa is that they played a weakened side v City 11 days ago, so they'd be fresh for Brentford on that weekend. Which sort of backfired in a 3-3 draw. Villa did no such thing against Arsenal today. And that's what you're up against. City have made team afraid of them, that you'll get noting - even if you try. Arsenal don't have that.

Liverpool won't be playing a weakened Villa side either.

I take your point but villa easily beat city in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. Emery took the foot off the gas for this meeting yes as the squad was struggling with injuries and Brentford and Lille to come.

I'm sure Emery makes sure he's competitive when playing against Arsenal given how they booted him!

It doesn't really matter now anyway that City have got their noses in front.

Teams with the most money buy the best players.

When has it ever been any different?

Not in my lifetime.

Quote from: Mourne Red on April 14, 2024, 06:17:09 PMZinchenko might be the worst left back Arsenal have had - give me Andre Santos any day.

Over at right back for the first goal leaving left back open for Bailey to tap in. Brutal

Spotted it in real time, Ben White pulls out of a tackle just before the first goal goes in and was rightly substituted just after that. Paul Merson also commented on it in the post match analysis.
You really can't afford to have lads in the team who're not prepared to throw everything at a game you need to win.

Poor performance from Arsenal with a trip to Munich yet to come.

Ben White was on a yellow, couldn't jump into tackle.

I have to say Peter Drury wore me down a little yesterday. Repeatedly roaring "And Bakayo Saka" or "And Leandro Trossard" with every half chance. Maybe I should have put this in the gear grinding thread.  ;D

They're all so shouty nowadays. More noticeable on the highlights on ssn. Painful

jumping into a tackle is one thing, but to actually pull out entirely is another thing.
