Edward Norton as Pete Seeger is quite something too... seems to be very accurate. Woodie Gutherie sad role in it but he sure inspired Dylan, Springsteen.. Anyway highly recommend. In cinemas...

Can't disagree with all of that. Well worth a watch.

It leaned heavily into the performance of his hits. I'd maybe have liked a little more time on the man, his personal life etc. Small gripe. Still a great show
+1 , really enjoyed it as well
I'll watch the Dylan film this weekend. If it can come close to being a country mile from the brilliant  Scorsese  210 min documentary 'No Direction Home' then it will have been worth it. There's good bits in that about his personal life up to 1965.  The Scorsese doc is the gold standard but takes a deal of content from the differently brilliant Pennebaker doc 'Don't Look Back'.

Milltown Row2

Watched The Boondock Saints

Can't remember it at the time, but it's pretty good in a fucked up gory way

I think I seen that years ago. Can't remember much about it , but I'd be fairly  certain Billy's character died  halfway through.... as usual

Finally watched Anora. I knew beforehand that she was a stripper and got mixed up with Russians. Nothing more. After about 40 mins I was thinking to myself "Christ this would want to start developing a plot pretty soon or I'll be hanging around for the next 90 mins"

Incredibly glad I did. Absolutely pissing myself throughout. Because of the look of Brighton Beach it reminded me of scenes from the Sopranos at the Jersey Shore, and couldn't help but think of the Pine Barrens episode. I haven't seen the movies of all the other Best Actress candidates but had to see how anyone could have done anything to win ahead of Mikey Madison. Spellbinding.

Tried to watch The Gorge, in full knowledge that it would be completely shit despite some big names and money behind it. Half of it was more than enough. Read the rest of the plot on wiki and in delighted I didn't endure any more of it.

Anyone see the new Naked Gun trailer with Liam Neeson. Not sure how good it will be but the OJ refrence at end is brilliant.

But not sure about Neeson.
I'll definately go wathc it though!

quit yo jibbajabba

Neeson was funny on Derry girls from memory but jees yer taking a chance stepping into the shoes of the fabled Nielsen

gallsman

Neeson has hardly been overly selective with the roles he's taken on the last 15 years or so.

All about the coin coin coin gallsman, as Jenas would say

I watched the clip there. Doesn't look great IMO. Could end up a disaster
