Quote from: Captain Scarlet on April 25, 2025, 05:17:30 PMThey helped Kildare too. But they also got us back on track in the longer term which costs less.

See the issue is that if the GAA didn't get involved and stood off, allowing vultures in, the same man would be SCATHING of the GAA.

But in this case the GAA are the vulture fund.

Quote from: RedHand88 on April 25, 2025, 12:25:54 PMUsed evergreen 4 in 1 in early March using a dropper spreader.

Huge mistake.
Few burnt spots but I've got those reseeded so that's not my biggest worry.
There are dark green streaks/patches everywhere and I'm pulling my hair out. You can actually see where i ran out around the septic tank etc. Nobody else seems to notice but it's bad looking.
What do I do? Do I let it grow out? Keep it cut short and just wait? How long does it take for this to go away?
I'm afraid of going over the missed bits with more fertiliser incase I make things worse.

Had that problem myself last year there were a few big black streaks through the grass. Luckily it was out the back though so I won't be touching the 4 in 1 again I've just used moss remover last week and will do a separate fertiliser run in the next few weeks.

How long did the streaks last? Mine are dark green as opposed to black. Its turned parts into a jungle and other parts still pale green/yellow.
Dropper going straight into the skip.

Quote from: tyrone08 on April 25, 2025, 11:23:12 AMFinally i would say with all the secrecy and false teams given out by managers doesnt help.

This!!!

Like what other sport does this to the level of GAA. Even at club level. Multi billion pound sports can announce there team and it's no big deal yet in GAA we can't have them knowing our players.

I remember during covid a member offered to live stream a home league game and was setting up and the paid managers of the time shut it down as other clubs would see how we play.

Division 3 Tyrone OMG

"How we play"

Christ on a bus. It's junior football ffs. It's hoof ball.

Quote from: southtyronegael on April 25, 2025, 09:34:25 AMQuiet here. Is there a match on this weekend or not?

Are people losing interest? The amount of gurning I've heard from ones about the fact youngsters cost €5, or that the game is on gaa+.
Was the same for the cavan game, very few at it for an Ulster Championship game.

Handmaid's Tale too I long since gave up on.

Got to season 4. What put me off was it being essentially the same story arc every season.

Outsiders want to build a casino on the ranch.
Then next season it was an airport.

Didn't get watching season 5. The spinoffs are great though.

The good news is that Ipswichs loss yesterday means United are safe from relegation for another season.

Liverpool could have won the league today if Ipswich beat arsenal.

Agents at the airports can check their phones for anti Trump etc. support and good chance they'll not be allowed in.

Big Brother is watching.

This kind of stuff will destroy the US tourist economy.

I live here, but I would not recommend anyone visit the US the way things have turned. You'd probably be fine, but you just never know, which I guess is their whole point. Scare people into staying away or leaving, with the fear of being randomly targeted for disappearance based on a tatoo or a meme in your phone, just like they tried to do when they stole kids from asylum seeking parents in 2018.

The US have been checking social media accounts for years. This is not a Trump thing. Someone i know got a notification on Linkedin- "department of homeland security have viewed your profile". This was before an entry visa was approved. This was in the Biden years, not Trump.
Bit of clutching of pearls here from some people. If you don't tweet "death to America" all the live long day you've nothing to worry about.

Anybody thinking they win a border poll [which i would vote for] living in dreamland. Make a mess of the first one. You wouldn't see another for 20 years.

I think it's going to be closer than you would think. The biggest pro UK argument is the NHS. I can only assume these people haven't been ill in years. The NHS is completely stuffed and anyone with any sense knows this.

So, what are  the pro-UK arguments then?
