No , my first problem is with the gaa go . I was willing to pay for it but unfortunately I couldn't watch the game I paid for so therefore cancelled my subscription .
As regards watching more games,  I couldn't care less , It's not my job to promote gaelic games , I'll just watch other sports 👍

Surely gaa go has to be a complete and utter failure.
Yesterday for example there must have been 10 or 11 games been played between hurling and football yet not one was on any channel to view for free , so much for promoting the games.
I had signed up for the season pass, however the quality was so bad for the mayo v New York match , buffering , picture quality ect , I just cancelled it and won't be going back and definitely won't be paying 12 euro to watch a single game.
So yesterday evening instead of watching a hurling or football match my choice on rte was rugby or watch the golf on sky , so golf it was , turned out to be a great choice in the end 😀

Is it possible your Internet isn't good enough? I've never had any problems with GAAGo in the few years it's been about. I am abroad this week and was able to watch the Derry game which I could not have done otherwise. Its great.

With regards to the perpetual argument that more games should be on free to air, this has been explained over and over and over. RTE are not a dedicated GAA station, they show general entertainment, news, lifestyle, cooking, documentaries, sports etc. They are already showing 2 full games today from the Munster Hurling championship, as well as highlight packages last night and tonight. You cannot expect them to show GAA morning noon and night all weekend.

As regards their highlights package,  don't get me started on that .

No one is expecting them to show every game on free to air , however would it be too much to expect them to show one game on a Saturday during the championship when possibly 10 games were been played ?
The championship will be as good as over in 8 weeks time so its not that much to expect imo.

Good luck Brick, I feel your pain. I have huge problems with my 14 year old boy, who has threatened to kill himself since he was 9, massive anger issues. The wife & I have tried alot of stuff, nothing is working. It's a  long road ahead impossible to live in the moment or enjoy life, just waiting for the next meltdown. Counsellors are non existent, GP,s are utterly useless. Teachers in fairness do their best. That's what I've found. The mind is a complex place, but the problems appear to be exacerbated by how young people form relationships/ friendships these days ie social media. Its toxic.

I know exactly how you feel Rudi, i could have written your post word for word ,  it comes to a stage where  you dread receiving a phone call or message. The mental health service down south is a joke , no help whatsoever .  I personally blame social media for a lot of it. All you hear is regarding mental help is talk to someone , but in reality there is no one to talk to , not unless you can wait 6 months.     

What is the private health sector like for getting help? Not everyone is in a position to pay for it of course but I'm wondering more on how many places provide it?

I noticed a private mental health company has opened up in a old bank near me, forget the name of it but I'd imagine they would be very busy considering the waiting lists for the health service

I looked into one recently , at least a 3 month waiting list, €300 to €500 for the 1st appointment and €150 per appointment after that .

Jesus! Thats expensive even if you have the money!

It's mental , and i definitely don't have the money , yet there is still a waiting list .

Sorry for you loss Pj can only imagine how you feel . Don't know why I feel the need to post on the forum but the black dog has got a grip of me and probably has for quite a while though I didn't want to admit it. i have sought help but it's not easy , things appear very bleak at the moment , to the outside it would appear that I have an ideal  life but the truth is my heads is  in turmoil, used to love Christmas but really dreading this one .

One of the biggest transformations over the last two seasons.  A couple of years ago he was a talented player in midfield but didn't  have the engine or temperament to be affective the entire game, just in short bursts.  Last year his fitness had clearly came on, but this year he his the finished article.  Really look forward to seeing his battle in the middle with cavanagh.  Think he will bowl him over.  A powerhouse of a performance yesterday.

I can't really see these pair marking each other. Both of them spend too much time in the no.6 position.

O'Shea was extraordinary yesterday. He must have touched the ball upwards on 50 times, and I can't remember a mistake.

a stat came up on screen at the beginning of the second half i think it was ,  that he had 20 possessions, i think the next closest of any player was 14
