Sihwan Kim has finished dead last in both LIV events this year - a combined 58 shots worse than the winner and has earned a cool $240k for that.

It's a nonsense tour. It will need to change radically for it to have any interest from Joe Public. If and when someone defects the other way and asks back onto the PGA tour you' imagine whatever credibility it has it will have lost.

Lots of examples and voices here show why it is important to take our time and get it right for all involved including the Men.

The more likely this becomes the more I'm thinking the GAA needs a bloody big "pre nup" as part of the merger.

Let's call a spade a spade. This would not be a partnership of equals. One organisation brings all the grounds and premises, the long-standing  tradition of volunteerism, the sponsorship, the media, the political influence, and the majority of players. The other organisations bring a minority of players.

The current hierarchy whereby men's football and hurling are pegged above their female counterparts in terms of importance is owed most significantly to the ownership of grounds. Currently one sport can call the tune ahead of the others. The other sports then set their schedules in and around what's left.

For everyone's sanity it has to stay that way. When the availability of facilities cannot keep up with demand, absolutely no good can come from an equal balance of power.

Equality yes. Egalitarianism, no. That's not going to work.

Yes the "Men's GAA" bring the infrastructure and why wouldn't they, they've had a 130 or 40 year head start. The LGFA and Camogie will bring a lot of things. I know in my own local club where it is basically run as one, the Ladies bring a whole different dimension to fundraising, coaching, and lots more.
The ladies are afraid it will be a take over. I think we take our time and get it right for all parties. One thing is for sure we could learn a lot from them, even in how their All Ireland competitions are run, with Senior, Intermediate and Junior all Irelands.

It cannot be underestimated the difference Mattie Donnelly makes to that team. Simply immense this last few games. We need to either find another one for the next 10 years or regenerate him.

England gave up. If I was a fan I'd be pissed. Awful performance. Borthwick do well to see the year out.

Watched the series about George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Enjoyed it. The 60s and 70s must been mental in the music industry. Same vibes as Elvis and Johnny Cash, amphetamines and drink!

The Hall of Fame for diving in Gaelic football, a one that will never be beaten til the end of time:

Horrible act. I suppose the question should be why has no one been hit with a ban since this. Dives like this should be called out and punished with as ban. Would soon cut it out.

How did this pan out?

There was a ban proposed which is more then has been done to any other team. Fans and the gaa need to look at these issues individually rather than handing out proposed bans because a certain team is involved.

Even the way he appealed his ban made it seem like he was proud of his behaviour which sunk his reputation even further.
His real punishment is that his name will live in infamy because of one bad incident rather than of any positive contributions. He's the Tonya Harding of Gaelic Football.

Tyrone were right to challenge the ban. It highlighted the hypocrisy and selective action taken by the GAA. As we know this was not the first dive in GAA history. The GAA tried to act outside their own rules, driven by the (justifiable) media hype and had to rescind the ban.

That said, McCann was a clown for his actions and deserved any abuse comes his way for that.

This act sums him up.

He's entitled to his opinion while at the same time accepting an annual salary of £1.2M from the government/taxpayer.

If I publicly criticized my employer in the manner he did I'd be fired by the end of the day

That is also true, and if your criticism is correct you'll have enough people supporting you.

Who gets to decide if it's a correct or incorrect opinion?

Is British public opinion on the side of the govt or on Linekers side as it pertains to the "small boat strategy"?

I find this a handy way of knowing....

If you're on the side of the DUP then it's wrong and you're quite possibly a ****. If you're on the opposite side to the DUP then you're probably grand and dead on.
