Hurling Discussion / Re: Hurling 2025

The two yesterday both looked very poor. Tipp would need a much better performance to even threaten cork. Kk as bad as they have been in years - they were just walked through for the goals.

Pity he can't play but one of those things. Some embarrassing posts on this.

I haven't seen much minor this year but the Ulster final he was fantastic. Seemed less prevalent in the semi but will obviously be a big loss.

Be some achievement to win u20 and minor in one year

He's a gobshite. Brannigan has done a great job with Monaghan. The players aren't there for an all Ireland - he is getting the most out of them.

Ciara Mageean diagnosed with cancer. Terrible news that.

Can't see a thread on this... Real pity to see Joel Kerr not playing in the minor final. I imagine he's a huge loss to Tyrone.

Also I don't recall the madness above. That is nuts  ;D .

What would you expect them to say?

Addiction is one thing - a con artist is another. Nonsense to say this is related to making a change from elite player to real life.

Sambo and jimmy barry murphy. They'd Seamus Kennedy on as well and one or two others. However Monday is off when it's hurling only weekend which says a lot...

Donegal have been awful in the first half of the last two games and then big fifteen or twenty minute spells have pulled them through. They also struggled over mayo and then obviously Tyrone beat them. They are very good when they get going but they seem to be patchy in matches and if they wee to win an ai they would need to maintain it. Kerry the same and have only played in patches. Meath definitely have a chance here.

If you ran at them boys in the early 90s you'd have done it once and not have been doing it again in a hurry.

Yep exactly - Lisburn and Larne as well are a big success story with the demographic etc there. They face things a lot of us probably haven't encountered and getting teams out and keeping a ground going and not getting burnt down or wrecked is almost an achievement.

St brigids are a club that were badly needed in that area... you have clubs every drop of a hat in west Belfast and you had one south Belfast club.

He says things to get headlines- that's just another one of them.
