Is money holding this road up?

It's been so long since i added attachments to a post I forget what you do to link the exact Twittter thread.

But the A5 group have been posting daily about what is happening.

Today the objections were the potential damage to moss. (??!!)

Imagine sitting through that having lost a loved one.

Inquiry reopened this morning. 16 years since the road was first approved. It actually beggars belief that much time has passed and how many more years will go by without one bit of tar being laid.

If you are in the area of the Strule Arts centre this week go and have a coffee there.

Just a pity no one from the group objecting was made to go.

Coercive control may be why she stayed or married him, not sure it's a case of why did her dad 'let her get married to him'

To the outside world when the good times are good, they appear to be the perfect couple.

Maybe she had become isolated and was not really in touch with her family and friends.



Women will marry men and stay with men yet every single day, be afraid to be in the same house as them. 

I would think any man who would treat you like that/but you can't leave or get away from- then turning to or becoming reliant on alcohol would be a coping mechanism or a way to try and block it out.

Plus it's a very coherent and detailed post from someone who is allegedly on a 7 day bender or drunk.

I feel for the children in this situation-not sure what ages they are but if they are at the age to use social media themselves, they will no doubt be made aware of all this.

Thinking of going to a Eurocamp in Nice in the summer-first time. Will have two under 8 with us..not sure if we should hire a car though if all we need is there on the campsite. Any of you wise ones offer any advice. I wouldn't be keen on driving over there myself tbh.

It is a terrifying case because we think of the times when we can relate to that feeling of being afraid.  Just a few weeks ago I went for a walk around 8pm-when kids were in bed. It turned out to be much shorter than planned and when I came in my husband asked me why I was back so soon.
The reason? Fear.

It's that sense of unease you have by yourself at night.
I told him that I was afraid to walk by myself.  He just thought I was crazy (and said but sure it's all well lit)

The street lights aren't the issue though.  When you have experienced that heart pounding (half running the last part of the way) and breathing a sigh of relief when you get in and close the door behind you -you dread to think of what it must have been like for Sarah.

Is blacklist any good, before I invest time in to it?

Am really saddened to hear about Stephen Clements. Listened him on Q morning show and more recently on Radio Ulster and thought he was a natural at it. His last tweet is very poignant. 

Lyra was a dear friend of mines and my heart is broken today. Please don't be fueling rumours. In enough pain.

Ziggy-so sorry for your loss. Lyra sounded like an amazing lady who had such a bright future ahead of her. Take care of yourself too as I'm sure the next few days/weeks/months ahead will be very tough. Just heartbreaking. RIP Lyra

Heart breaking. Have been thinking of all involved since I read it first last nite on Twitter. The Greenvale was always a much loved hotspot for us back in the day and for something like that to happen is just beyond belief.
Then hearing about the mother of 3 on a hen in Carlingford as well as the road deaths, makes you appreciate what you have. Tragedy has visited far too many families this weekend. I know I hugged my two wee ones a bit tighter putting them to bed tonite.

Again more of a village than a town but Strangford Co Down is lovely.
