Quote from: clarshack on July 13, 2024, 09:00:32 PMWhen you look at how Armagh put it up to Kerry today compared to us last year a lot of people in the Tyrone Senior setup need to take a good look at themselves in the mirror this evening.

I was thinking the exact same today. If Armagh can get to an all ireland final, what's stopping us?

First time we'll have a winner outside the big 3 since 2012.

Quote from: greatpoint on July 13, 2024, 07:50:52 PMYou can expect no mention of Clifford's absolute non-performance by he way

Never ever do I want to hear about him being anywhere near the best player of all time.
He's not even the best in his family.

Why is David Clifford not being brought on off the bench?

Quote from: Jell 0 Biafra on July 11, 2024, 04:52:18 PMKane is joint top scorer at the tournament!

Olmo is the outright Golden Boot leader at the Euros as he has the most assists of those on 3 goals, with 2.
That's 2 more than Kane.
Even if Kane got 2 assists in the final, Olmo would still be the outright leader as the next tiebreaker is less minutes played and Olmo missed one game.

Olmo didn't get his first goal in the Euros until the 83rd minute of the last 16 knockout stage.
Was 400/1 in running bets.

Was wondering what the different tiebreakers were, very interesting. Sounds like Kane will have to score more outright than Olmo in the final.

What annoys me is that this has been going on for over a year but it's only really becoming mainstream news since the debate. I dont understand how people were shocked by that night when it was obvious to anyone following his speeches that it would nothing but an unmitigated disaster.
At this stage I don't think he's able to finish his term, never mind do another.

Fair chance that Kane ends up with the golden boot now that Gakpo is out.

Don't understand the jamminess thing either. Would it be less lucky if they had scored in the 70th minute?
You play to the final whistle.

Quote from: Captain Obvious on July 10, 2024, 03:23:10 PMPaul Merson on Sky Sports, "I don't see any possibility in which the Dutch team will beat us. It would be a shock. An even bigger shock than if we had been knocked out by Switzerland."

David James on England to BBC, "This is a great test for the final against Spain."

Turns out they were spot on!

Quote from: Truthsayer on July 10, 2024, 08:41:00 PMAre England good or Holland rubbish or a combination of both?

Probably is a combination of both alright. The Dutch aren't great. Their midfield has been shocking.

England passing through them every time.
