Is it true the cops are involved in the Clonoe/Moy saga?

I hope not. However, it wouldn't be out of character from a club full of stoops like the Moy.

Wise up. This will carry on until somebody is killed on a GAA pitch. This week of all weeks you should know that one punch is enough to kill someone.

Drumragh V Clogher - Saturday 1:30pm in Beragh
Moy V Edendork - Saturday 1:30pm in Donaghmore
Any thoughts/predicitions on these 2?

Drumragh & Edendork (if McCurry is fit) struggled toward the end of the game against Pomeroy. Stayed on the field, so I assume he's ok.
Living the dream!!!

Edendork should have more than enough for the Moy who will also be without Coleman. Their route one football proved effective against Pomeroy as well some exceptional frees from Morgan

Onthe40

Edendork
tentative vote to Clogher (may take ET)
Drumragh knocking on the door of div2 for a while, not sure they will get through it just yet

They can take a civil case without involving the PSNI

It's a long time since Clogher played a competitive game.

Morgan kicked some serious frees, thought Pomeroy were the better team but Morgans deadballs were the difference.

So running crying to the RUC is the solution?

How cowardly.

Is it really a competitive game? Win or lose for Clogher they deserve to be where they are. Drumragh for the past few years have been one of the top teams in division 3 taking away the teams that get relegated from division 2. If they can find that extra gear they might just end up in division 2 for the year. If I could, I would put the wife and kids on them to go straight back down in my opinion.

I would say breaking someones jaw from behind, unprovoked is more cowardly.

I'm not defending the Clonoe man however, he obviously didn't intend to break his jaw.

If you've ever played football past U12 level, you would know sometimes in the heat of the moment you may act without rational thought. I feel that in this case, an investigation by the County Board is necessary and subsequent sanctions should be put in place.

Crown involvement should be completely off the table.

breaking someone's jaw from behind is cowardly but that wasn't the case here. It was front on, he had a chance to protect himself.

I think he has a fair enough point, county board investigation is plenty and it should be based on whatever the referee report says.
