Dead as usual when United wins.

Thats the 3rd time in about 6 weeks we've come from behind to win one of the top teams, I can barely recall United winning after going behind since Fergie left so there's certainly been improvement.

I had Pochetino down as the next United manager but not sure about that anymore, time and time again in big games they've fallen short.

Even when they went behind for some reason I was confident enough that they could turn it around and get back in the game. Living on the edge slightly at times but its a semi final against what is apparently a brilliant spurs team.

Has to be said again, in a normal season they would be up there competing for the title, City have just been that class apart.

I can make a case for United hitting 90 points next season but if City accumulate as many points as they have this season the title is their's.

Delighted with the win and hopefully can finish the job in the final and get back level for most wins. As for people only criticising when United don't win - clearly lots of the criticism of Mourinho regarding Pogba has been vindicated. In recent times when Herrera has played and Pogba has been pushed higher up it has worked as most people with a pair of eyes could see. Herrera is still a valuable member of this squad though clearly the manager is or has been reluctant to play him. There has been improvement but there had to be given the low starting point and the millions spent. It's whether there has been (a) enough improvement and (b) whether the improvement will continue and have United back winning Premier leagues and CL's.

Beginning to agree on Pochettino who I had high hopes for as a possible United manager. It's definitely now a trend.

Herrera has done well the last month but he was very average earlier in the season and McTominay rightly was ahead of him. Herrera started against West Brom and Pogba was shocking, Pogba has to take responsibility for his own performances; He's been poor by his standards since January.

Captain Obvious

A youthful Arsenal deserved a draw out of that lifeless game however Wenger in his last game in Old Trafford was beaten in Fergie time. That's champions league football secured for Manchester United now with three games to play a big improvement from last seasons 6th place finish.

Nice to see us winning in Fergie time. Shouldn't have needed to start with 2 defensive midfielders against that young Arsenal side.  Let them off the leash for the last few games FFS when 2nd place is in the bag.
Very classy touch from United for Wenger's last game at OT.

Very disappointing return from Liverpool and Spurs.  Usually a banker 6 points from both.

Non event yesterday but a winning is a good habit so can't grumble. Once again we have to listen to the tripe from Sky Pundits telling us Spurs are a better team, the league table doesn't lie and last weeks result disproves ttat theory. Smalling again was poor yesterday, thought Lindelof did well though.

You said a few weeks back that the United squad was on a par with City's squad. So if the league table doesn't lie how do you explain United being 16 points behind City?

Hard to judge Lindelof, at times he has looked ordinary enough but I think there is a decent player in there somewhere.

Just wondering what JM has in mind for the squad over the summer. We can all speculate as to what the squad needs but he is the man who has to make it happen.

They have simply been more consistent, whereas United effectively ruined their challenge with the points lost at Christmas.

City have been brilliant had an remarkable season and United haven't been good enough. A lot of this City team have been in the title race the last years whilst United have only made the top 4 once in the previous 4 seasons.

What is the story with Bailly? Is he injured? I think he could be an excellent CB if he could stay fit and playing.

So the league table doesnt lie expect where United are 16 points off the top, then it does lie...ok got it.

Agree on Lindelof although done ok since xmas when he's got a game. I'd be more than happy to see Smalling shipped out to be replaced by Alderwiereld.
