What's the point in having sky player on the xbox if you don't have a sky subscription?

If you don't have sky you can pay for it just on the xbox. The sports idea sounds good

Yeah you can adjust the sound for effects like that, commentry, crowd noise etc. It's seems ok to me in the full game.

If you are going to pay for sky player on the xbox, as well as xbox live, would it not just be better and handier to get sky installed. At least you will get a guaranteed connection and no issues with streaming, bandwidth, broadband speed etc. The BBC iPlayer option on the PS3 is great, but not sure if you can watch live TV on it.

You can dip in and out of it on a month by month basis, also you can pay for things on demand ie the odd footy match.
