Magnificent performance away to last season's champions tonight, after an emotional day at the Lane on Sunday.Harry well placed to take Golden Boot with a Fab Four goal salvo as well

another season with no trophies ... what a team!  ;)

A nothing game. They couldn't do it when it mattered against West Ham.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Milltown Row2

Would not have mattered had they beat West Ham thirty nil!  ::)
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Exactly this.

Spurs "lost" the league in August, not in May. Winning 12 out of 13 games isn't bottling.

Nah the team actually started quite well, think they were 5-2-0 after beating City at the start of October, it was the October to December period, injuries to Kane and others, some poor/iffy draws against the likes of Leicester, WBA, Bournemouth and Arsenal and losses to Chelsea and United away where the damage was done. Chelsea were ten points ahead after the United defeat in mid December and both teams had pretty similar runs since, think it's 18-2-2 for Spurs since the United loss. As with last season they were trying to make up the ground lost on the eventual champions after December and ultimately had too much to do and were reliant on the leaders dropping points which didn't happen enough to make it possible, no bottling involved.

Harry Kane actually does score when he wants! ;D

thats not even a joke! lol

Routine win to start the season! Great performance from young Kyle Walker Peters (sounds like three Spurs players rolled into one!).

What is it about Harry Kane though? Is he jinxed not to score in August ever, after he had a screaming effort come off the inside of the post?

Anyway roll on demoralised Chelsea at Wembley next weekend!

T Fearon

Kane now the greatest current English player.Must be worth £100m

Big win last night and hopefully that will put an end to the whole can't win at Wembley business. Should be able to take maximum points from the Nicosia games, progress then hinges on getting something out of the Dortmund return game and Real at home Wembley. Kane can't seem to buy a goal in August but good that he's now back in the groove. New boys seem to be settling in well, Vertonghen's red card was harsh enough I thought.

Three away games out of three won! Once again Kane irresistible, how much would he be worth if he could score in August

Tony he is worth 150 million to me right now given the prices of footballers these days, he is transformational.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Fixed that for you  ;)

Always nice to beat West Ham in their annual cup final but were left hanging on towards the end. Still it keeps the team in touch with the top, just need to get that Wembley form sorted out.
