Most of these interviews and sound bites come from NFL-mandated media availability sessions. As GM he probably has even more plates he needs to spin in that regard each week.

They could have got more for him in the spring, they obviously liked him but he wanted to play & Brady is defying Father Time so it's not that complex. We will soon find out how good he is, mind you he hasn't too many weapons in SF
