Quote from: Dinny Breen on August 11, 2019, 07:30:16 AMLike it or not, the Dubs have set the standard. At the end of the day its up to the rest to catch up no point whinging.
When they came for Leinster you laughed at us told us to stop whinging and get better, you're just shit it's not our problem. Looks like the rest of the country are just as shit. Why is Ulster so competitive they ask, simply they are all just as shit as each other.
Quote from: Dinny Breen on August 11, 2019, 07:19:42 AMHe got a nasty (but deserved) belt in the guts. I'd say that was it.
Con O'callaghan was left on for 10 mins after a heavy blow to the head yesterday. When he eventually did come off he puked his guts up on the sideline. Remind me what vomiting is a symptom of again?
Quote from: straightred on August 11, 2019, 09:33:24 AMCouldn't have any complaints if either of those two won it going by what we've seen so far anyway, barring a miracle from Clifford or Donnelly or the like today and in the finalQuote from: dublin7 on August 11, 2019, 09:28:10 AMQuote from: tonto1888 on August 11, 2019, 08:34:25 AMFenton, Howard and O'Callaghan nailed on now as well.
I think Mannion is nailed on for one anyway
Fenton looming good for POTY
con is the short odds favorite for POTY with Paddy Power
Quote from: clarshack on August 10, 2019, 11:18:10 PMSure maybe they will.Quote from: Armagh18 on August 10, 2019, 10:49:30 PMQuote from: Aaron Boone on August 10, 2019, 09:25:54 PMKerry surely with all these minor teams should be be beating the Dubs within the next 2 years.
You feel uneasy after that start to second half by Dublin. It's realistically looking closer to 10 in a row. Is Cork now the best hope to beat them, say by middle of next decade?
They should be doing it now.

Quote from: BennyCake on August 10, 2019, 08:06:03 PMWould be absolutely brilliant without them feckers beating everyoneQuote from: befair on August 10, 2019, 07:49:48 PM
Always loved the Dubs; but they have become an unstoppable juggernaut. Fair dues to their county board and their organisation, which means they are getting theri best players and getting the best out of those players. But they do have insurmountable advantages in terms of playing population, financial resources + home games. The final will be another anti-climactic drubbing.
There may not be a solution, just something we have to live with
If the Dubs weren't there, it would be a cracking c'ship.
Even the likes of Roscommon, Kildare, Monaghan, Armagh, Cork etc would have AI aspirations
Quote from: whitey on August 10, 2019, 07:34:45 PMSome of the kickouts would make ya cringe. Not like it mattered in the end though.
I'm afraid to ask....how many of the goals/points was the Mayo goalkeeper to blame for?
Quote from: Armagh18 on August 10, 2019, 06:32:37 PMNot as bad as O'Connor. Tool.
Stay classy O'Callaghan. Gobshite.
Quote from: trailer on August 08, 2019, 07:31:03 PMSure if they export across the border and still voted for Brexit then what are they only idiots?Quote from: omaghjoe on August 08, 2019, 04:50:15 PMQuote from: trailer on August 08, 2019, 09:35:26 AMQuote from: omaghjoe on August 08, 2019, 12:31:49 AMQuote from: trailer on August 05, 2019, 08:27:47 AM
I'd estimate 90% of all Dairy farmers voted to leave the EU. NI exports over 80% of all the milk it produces. Many of them would have a poultry interest as well.
No doubt based on the assumption that all dairy farmers are DUP supporting Free-Ps
Total BS statement
I work in the industry and would know what I am talking about. I'd speak to over 30 dairy farmers everyday - right across Northern Ireland. But hey whatever you think yourself.
Oh right so you work in the department taking calls from farmers to fulfil their redtape requirements.... which ALL farmers loathe and farmers are well known for holding their tounge when it comes to complaining..... But you've been conducting a political survey at your government job tuttut? Dont be afraid to publish the results then
Look I know a fair few dairy farmers myself and they do nothing but bitch about EU regulations. But the ones I know best when it came to the referendum it was a no brainer Remain.
Not saying that a healthy majority probably voted to Leave...... but 90% is LaLa Land stuff
LOL I work for the Department. f**k me. Have a word with yourself.
Do I know the exact figure? No. But I would offer that 9 / 10 of all Dairy farmers I know and spoke to voted leave. And as I say I speak with 30+ everyday, including Farmers who send their milk to processors across the border. f**k me I spoke to two buyers for two separate beef factories in NI the VERY NEXT DAY and they voted leave as well.
The reason? I think it was a combination of red tape etc but also fluctuations in Milk prices. Ironically the red tape was mostly caused by the Dept in NI who interpret the directives and not necessary by the EU.
Quote from: screenexile on August 08, 2019, 11:58:50 AMIdiots. After all the shite the huns do around the 12th why bother making yourself out to be on that level. Although if the cops would ever feck off out of those places and quit stirring it there'd be a lot less bother.
Things kicking off in New Lodge . . . what the f**k is going on over there?? Clearly the wider community doesn't want this why can't it get sorted in house???
I see Gerry Kelly's been there all morning would be interesting to hear what he has to say it seems complete nonsense and just a lod of hoods intent on causing bother!!
Quote from: Cunny Funt on August 07, 2019, 05:52:18 PMAw thats an awful pity. Mayo having a horrible year with injuries.
Jason Doherty's injury confirmed as ACL.
Quote from: Farrandeelin on August 06, 2019, 10:09:54 PMRoscommon can't, any other year they'd have been out after being best by Tyrone anyway, then got tanked by the Dubs. They're a good side but just a step below the top 5 at the minute. Donegal can have complaints as they beat Tyrone this year already and have only lost once compared to Mayo's 2 defeats, but thats just the way it goes, they had their chance to beat Mayo but the better team won.Quote from: SouthDublinBro on August 06, 2019, 05:48:16 PM
I don't see any problem with the Super 8 system. The current 4 teams who have qualified are the best 4 in Ireland. No other team can have any complaints.
Roscommon can. Donegal can.
