Quote from: Wildweasel74 on July 11, 2025, 11:27:02 AMIf it's Meenagh, I don't understand why get rid of Tally. Surely drop him into the backroom team, same with Gilligan. To me u need be going with someone higher profile if u getting rid of Tally in that fashion.

Perhaps the Co. Board made this suggestion and P.T wasn't on board!?

Who knows!!

Bit embarrassing to be downgraded to a coach from manager, can't imagine any county manager doing that.

Not really sure why people are shocked we got rid of Tally. He didn't win a game all season, and most of the performances were pretty awful. He actually didn't show anything that would suggest things would be better next season.

You've missed understood...

I meant P.T staying on as Manager and the the Co. Board telling him who is background team would be instead of selecting himself.

Talk about legends....

Walk the walk....Talk the talk...

The lads deserve an award....

Most of the Derry lads were all on the pitch after the game last night for photos and signatures.....

Fair play to them or any other team after defeat....

He was generally excellent and contributed to a hard hitting enjoyable game.

But he refereed one side's big old unit very differently to other side's big old unit .

Because that would make too much sense and possibly promote the games to a greater audience.

Quote from: Interstellar on June 15, 2025, 01:36:23 PMAs well as strengthening on the field we need strengthening on the sideline. As some have previously suggested an approach to Ciaran Meenagh as tactical coach would surely be acceptable to all if he was interested.

After his antics in armagh today, would you want him anywhere near it? Looper
What did he do?

Yeah...what did he do?? 🤔

Ethan Rafferty and Shaun Patton are better goalkeepers than Onana...

Beggan could play in the Irish League no problem...

Onano would be up there with the worst in the Irish League...

Must not been enough asthma about the place for him to be any use

In Wilcox we trust, heard he was an absolute amadan in his day, remarkable how he's sneaked into that role and remains
What some would call anyone that thinks Roy Keane should manage Manchester United, have Rory Beggan as Goalkeeper and Scott McTominay as a striker.

Rory Beggan could not be worse than Onana (worst keeper in UTD history) 100%....definitely on par...

Utd would have been better off with McTominay this season and most should agree...

The Roy Keane one? Well you can sort it out yourselves LOL.....
