Chelsea are a sorry lot I heard on talksport other day that they don't want to formally announce Poch until Lampard goes as a mark of respect.  Bringing him back was a massive blunder for all concerned will do well to get another job anywhere again.

Jeez how bad are Chelsea. Some of those misses were incredible but they are brutal.
Utd need a lot of work. Striker, RB, another MF and a Keeper.

Correct score line of that game last night probably should have been 8-3. It was one of those end of season carefree contests with little focus on defending. Chelsea out of possession was as poor as I've seen from any team in Old Trafford this season.

Home form is what mainly has got United Champions league football, one more home win away from equaling the most home wins they have got in a season and have conceded just 9 goals in 18 Premier league games, that's Ferguson like United home form, the main work and improvement required now to do is the away form against top 10 next season as against the 10th to 20th placed teams they only loss one game and that was recently against West Ham due to a DeGea error.

If Chelsea had a striker anything like the name, they'd have had 3 goals in the first half alone, some of the misses were incredible to say the least.

There's a bit of defensive work for ETH to work on as City won't miss those chances in the FA Cup.
There seems to be a lack of top quality strikers in every league. There was an Irish Times article about soccer yesterday that looked at Man Utd's options which came down to Kane, a £100m Napoli player who might not adjust to the EPL and a 20 year old from Denmark.

Just need to get the OGS away form of a few years back  ;D have been very good at Old Traffford to be fair that early win against liverpool looking back was a big result as gave much needed confidence and the home form was very good after.

Looks like ETH has opened the door for Maguire without exactly pushing him out, he's made it pretty clear the direction he intends to go in.

Yeah he's just not Utd level. Stupid buy by OGS in the first place. He left a squad of shite behind him that will take a few windows to sort.
Fred to Fulham? Who says no? Hopefully not Fred or Fulham. Happy to drive him down myself.

By any chance would anyone know of any availability for one ticket for the FA Cup final?

Who knew Harry Maguire was a GAA fan  ;)

No Striker this weekend unless we are still classifying Weghorst as a professional footballer. Martial pulled his hamstring in the appreciation lap at OT which is an indication of the amount of running and effort he put in all year.

If ETH wins two cups in his first year with this squad of shite he deserves the freedom of Manchester and his own statue.

United have got lucky that liverpool and chelsea have been way of the pace.  In the cup competitions, they draws have been incredibly kind all home games in both competitions to the semi final stage win one semi against a team just promoted and trying to stay up and the other on a penalty shoot out.  ETH has done a good job, but to say he deserves the freedom of Manchester is stretching it.  This isn't a Leicester 2016 story they have the biggest wage bill in the league ffs.

If Utd finished 3rd how bad are the rest? Two statues for that alone..

No doubt Klopp and Poch will be chasing City next year with the likes of Newcastle and Arsenal in the mix too

Chelsea and Loserpool are a good bit off. Loserpool need plenty of investment, they put a run together once everyone else had more or less given up. Chelsea need a councellor(s)

All of the 2nd to 4th teams could drop next year. I wouldn't be surprised if 2 of the 3 missed top 4 next year. United need a good window to strengthen areas and that won't happen without the Glazers gone. Newcastle have to deal with european football for the first time, that usually stretches the squad the first year. Arsenal could go either way. Liverpool will be stronger no matter what happens but I'm not convinced Chelsea will be up challenging straight away.
