Easy wins for the Kerry Senior B Champions in the Munster Intermediate Championship and Kerry intermediate B Champions in the Munster Junior Championship.
Fossa put the game to bed as a contest by half-time, leading 1-11 to a single point.

In the Rathmore Kanturk game the home-county side scored only once more before the break and trailed 1-10 to 0-2 at the turnaround.

Some win for Newcastle West. With the Limerick footballers playing in Div 2 next year the big ball is rising in the county.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Would the third best club team in Kerry Kerins O'Rahilly's be good enough to beat this unfancied Limerick team handy enough? -2 is the betting on that one

Something has to be done about higher graded Kerry teams entering the Munster and All Ireland Club championship.

Half of what are senior teams in other counties play in the Intermediate championship and half of the intermediate team play in the Junior championship.

It creates a huge imbalance and champions from other counties artificially look weaker.

If Mayo was the same, these would be the teams in:

Intermediate
Mayo Gaels, The Neale,  Belmullet, Balla, Aghamore, Ballaghdereen, Davitts, Charlestown
Louisburgh, Crossmolina, Ballinrobe, Parke, Ballyhaunis, Moy Davitts, Hollymount-Carramore, Kilmeena

Junior
Burrishoole, Kiltane, Kiltimagh, Kilmaine, Ardnaree, Castlebar B, Lahardane, Bonniconlon
Islandeady, Cill Comain, Eastern Gaels, Swinford, Ardagh, Killala

Great analysis.
The divisional teams are the source of the imbalance in the lower divisions.

Kerry Clubs have won every Munster Intermediate club title bar one since 2006.
Kerry Clubs have won every Munster Junior club title bar three since 2001.

There is a reason for this dominance.

When we get to the level playing field of senior. The dominance drops.

Kerry Clubs have won only 9 Munster senior titles since 1997.
