Why are you putting the commas in to try to defend him? Listen to the actual clip and tell me why you felt the need to put commas in to defend him when there is no gap in the sentence he actually says.

Not only has Martin Tyler clarified meaning and intent of his interview but he has not been cancelled.

Possibly he didn't get excited enough in commentary when Liverpool scored a goal or slightly too excited when a goal was scored against Liverpool.

Get a houl of yourself. Anyone who speaks English and who hasn’t a chip on their shoulder can understand that there is little wrong with what he said. Further to this, he has come out and clarified the meaning of what he said.
There is absolutely nothing to see here. No matter how much you, or anyone else wants to.
