Indeed. Obama was squeaky clean. No infidelity. No fraud. No controversial statements on record. No skeletons in his closet. The closest they could get to digging up "dirt" on him was the Jeramiah Wright business and try to do a guilt-by-association job on him because apparently he went to the same church as him once, which was a bit of a loose connection and unsurprisingly it got the Rethuglicans nowhere.

A white candidate does not need to be as squeaky clean, as the much-married, porn-star-bribing fraudster Trump has demonstrated. I remember when the RWNJs were bleating about how "divisive" Obama supposedly was, which was the precise opposite of what he was. Obama in my opinion understated how divided the country was. He tried to play it down, repeating his "there's more that unites us than divides us" mantra. And still complained about his "divisiveness."

"How dare he be so black" seemed to be their only complaint. Maybe he just helped to scratch the conservative surface and reveal the nakedly racist hatred that lies beneath.

And the "post racial America" BS is just laughable. The idea that racism was abolished in America the day Obama was elected is one of the more hilarious talking points from the right, coming as they do as black people continue to live their lives in fear of the police and the racist white people who are so quick to call them.

I don't think AntiFa have any love for Biden, but proud boys etc do love their trump.
