I'm really disappointed with Meaths skill level
Lot of players holding hurl the wrong way - toe in

Antrim are far more natural hurlers

Antrim stopped hurling

Fair play to Meath

Rufus T Firefly

That last free for Meath was awarded at 72.05 and was struck at 72.45 and the ref blows up dead on 73.00.  ::)

Having said that, some guts and determination by Meath to stick with it - great victory.

How much had the players bet on the oppposition this time?  ::)

Fair play Meath. Does this mean they will be in the Leinster Championship next year?
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Never saw that coming at HT .  Antrim gassed it seemed to me .  Well done to Meath .  They show great guts and plenty of skill .

Meath hurlers beat Antrim WTF like?
Or did they?

They did now irrespective of the scoreline. The GAA will offer the Antrim lads a few paddy power O'Neills vouchers to sweeten the deal like they did the Down lads when the referee blew the game up early a few years back.

That was hard to watch in the second half.... Fair play Meath, Antrim seriously need a good look at their set up, not management but players actual desire to put everything on the line to win for the county....all the skill in the world wont beat a hungry team, that was the difference in second half

I think you are being generous to Antrim on the "skill" bit but I agree with what your saying, not one player stood up when Meath started making a run at it

Bud Wiser

The Antrim manager needs to cop onto himself with his attitude during the interview on TG4.  If he can't display basic manners he should not have elected to go on at all. Tool.

Individually (bar maybe one or two players) skill wise Antrim were leagues apart, the difference is not pulling away when on top and expecting to win, no one should ever expect to just turn up...
