The money men in Garvaghey will be rubbing their hands after that draw.
We should all be rubbing our hands, its a great draw with some fantastic ties. Sets it up for a good championship again this year.
Last year was excellent for games going down to the wire.an unbelievable amount of games deceided at the death last year

A very lazy and predictable comment. Why do people resort to this?

Season ticket will have to be bought now.  Great Draw, some mouth watering ties.  Coalisland v Clonoe is a cracker.  The winner of that tie would be confident of a semi final place.  A big draw for the promoted teams and Eglish as well.

What are you on about Ziggysego?Facts are that the takings from the club cship were down last year, these bumper ties will draw huge crowds which will please the county board. Is there any part of that which you fail to understand??

Do you think I'm saying they fixed the draw?
That would be a very lazy and predictable assumption for you to make.

I think the person that compiled those odds know little about the Tyrone Championship.  Omagh at 6/4 is madness.  Any team at 6/4 is madness, the championship is so open.  There are a few value bets there.  Ardboe will do well to get past Dromore.  I'd suggest that their odds should be greater with the draw they got

Some of those odds look a bit crazy alright. For carrickmore to win the championship they possibly need to beat omagh, Dromore, Clonoe and Errigal. All for the miserly price of 3/1. Errigal at 10/1 looks good value as does derrylaughan at 7/1 for the intermediate.

I would change these odds to this.......

Cookstown at 2/1 doe intermediate is extremely short considering their poor season last year and the in fighting that has been going on.

Did you make those odds up yourself...

Where did you find them - let me know who is offering EC at 10/1 please - if they beat KC then they are in semi and 10/1 are good odds. Omagh at 6/4 is just not on, very poor odds IMO

the goal was on

errigal at 10's definitely good value and will be cut much shorter if can get over a tough task in killyclogher. can't see Ardboe beating dromore. Defence has'nt improved and bigger players like tommy/brian/mc conville/wylie won't be getting any better. Coney is'nt gonna exactly drive them on. Maybe there is few young players coming through but dromore with mc carron back and 2 sluddens/fully fit mc nabb and mc cusker will be hard to beat. Fancy carmen to beat omagh particulary if game played in May. Few of omagh lads will be concentrating heavily on county duty which will be complete opposite of situation they faced last year. Coalisland too will hope that county commitments will have an adverse effect on clonoes preparations plus if doris away. Has there been any confirmation of dates for these games. Really looking forward to them already. On another note seems an age now since teams resumed training and yet we are still 6 weeks away from start of leagues!

i think they were holdong off on league fixtures to insure that the teams drawn against each other in the championship didnt play each other in the league before hand

Was there any reference made to the draw itself when those odds were plucked out of the air.
Yes Omagh have the 25 year monkey off their back but they are facing a Carmen team with no County commitments to distract them and then probably a Dromore team who owe them one. That is just to get to a semi.

Is there too much emphasis being put on their reaching an Ulster club final?
Just off the top of my head from Tyrone clubs previous 6 appearances in Ulster Club finals, Trillick, Na Fianna & Errigal x 4 only one of those teams retained their County title.

Club Rossa

Ardboe played in the 1972 Ulster club final and retained the county title the following year.
