Pomeroy should'nt be far away, they have a seriously talented squad.  Maybe your right and the dedication isn't there but I wouldn't be ruling them out on any given day.

Yes Galbally (League Winners) Edendork (Championship) and Kildress (Play-Off) all promoted to Div1 next year.

Intermediate Football looks very interesting next year.  Cookstown, Moy, Donaghmore, Dungannon, Pomeroy, Derrylaughan off the top of my head look the big contenders.  I'm sure I've left others out (so don't shout at me).  Very competitive all will have hopes of a big season

Did McKenna or McCaul play against Dungannon?

McKenna didn't. think Mc Caul did play full back.

Lets get real, it happens, everyone knows it happens.  This time last year we were debating alternative league structures to prevent this type of fixing.   I remember a suggestion that top 8 are seeded for the championship that kind of thing.  I don't know how the same club(s) can keep dipping in the same well year in year out to prevent relegation.

I don't know if there is a way of prevention, that will be decided by people much brighter than me.  The 4 teams at the bottom of Div 1 were all awful.  Moy are down, were they the worst team? In my opinion no.  They had difficulties with starred fixtures and the stag that proved the nail in the coffin, but in the end were not good enough.

Dungannon or Donaghmore will join them, I actually think both will end up in Div2 because neither have shown the quality to warrant another stab at senior football.  5 points and 6 points would normally automatically relegate a team by some distance.  In the past 12 points was a benchmark maybe even 14.

I look forward to the Dungannon/Donaghmore game, I expect it will be paid at championship pace, not only survival but the fact the opportunity to send your neighbour down.  For bragging rights alone its a great game to win.
As I said earlier any of the bottom 4 would probably struggle top half of division 2. Division 1b worked well before.

I think that is a bit over the top.  They may struggle to bounce straight back to Div1 but I'd imagine they will all be in the top half of the division.  It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.  Is the relegation playoff this weekend?  If so can someone post up a day and time?

Clubs with nothing to play for can lose interest which is different than fixing a match.  I would say Ardboe lost interest in the year and subsequently Augher took advantage.  Regarding the reports from Greencastle who by all accounts were cruising to a win only to get beat after it was widely expected on this forum Donaghmore would win by various posts raises questions.  Its something that happens but wont ever be proved.

We have said for the past 3/4 years Donaghmore come to life September/October pity for them that wasn't championship time because they would be hard stopped  :P

As per the 2016 T&C's

47. Club+ Season Ticket holders will qualify for an All-Ireland Final ticket
regardless of their attendance rate at the designated counties Allianz GAA
National League & GAA Championship matches in 2016.

Is that correct?

Yes that is correct.  If you sign up for the club + option and your county quality for the All Ireland Final you are guaranteed a ticket and it wouldn't be reliant on your attendance.  Although I don't know how it changes anything.  If you buy a season ticket surely it is your intention to attend a high percentage of your counties fixtures.

Iggy Gallagher and Paul Devlin confirmed as new minor management.
I wouldn't have someone like Iggy Gallagher anywhere near a Tyrone setup.

I don't really know a lot about Iggy Gallagher or his credentials around the minor post so cant comment, however I do believe Paul Devlin will be excellent for Tyrone.  He took a Moortown team from u10 level right through to county minor champions.  He has proved his capabilities of working well with youth and I hope he can do the same with Tyrone.  The Moortown Minor sides I watched were always well disciplined and knew their role.

The relegation battle in Division 1 looks very interesting.  Dungannon picked up a nice win vs Eglish that could prove enough.  Moy now face Augher with both teams needing points to avoid the automatic drop with Donaghmore playing Greencastle.

I expect Donaghmore to win.  I don't know what mentality Clonoe are going into the Dungannon with, are they chasing a top 4 position?  Moy v Augher (coin toss)

Hard to beat prediction time for last day of season, Augher to beat Moy who have a squad away to Ryan Mellon's stag that day,  :-\
Dungannon to be beat by Clonoe and as a result should play Donaghmore in playoff following their 2 points being granted by Greencastle. Moy straight down, followed by Donaghmore, Dungannon to playoff with Div 2 opponent, Augher survive.

Top end - momentum appears to be with the Carmen

Is Ryan Mellon not married with children??

Kevin Bridges has threw his lot in with Killyclogher.  ;D

it was a bit surreal last night when kevin bridges was talking about killyclogher and trillick!

Missed this.. what's the story here?

In Kevin Bridges new stand up show he takes questions from the audience via twitter and he was asked his opinion on the upcoming championship final in a tweet that was shown at his last performance in Belfast.

Enjoyed tonight's game. Dromore couldn't live with the early pace and intensity Killyclogher brought to the game. Hard to argue with the cards although I thought McHugh was card happy at times. Mark Bradley give McCarron the run around Cathal looked sluggish. Dromore got their tactics right for the second half and were a lot better despite having 2 less players. T.McCann was key he won a lot of free kicks but was disappointed he dropped to the floor once again midway through the second half after what looked like little contact. does this fella not learn.

Well done Killyclogher

Do Club Tyrone look after the wages end of things? Or who pays the salary for the senior post.  Is there a salary attached to the other county posts?

Sad to hear of the petrol bombing of Moy over the weekend.  GAA clubs may need to look at reviewing the security in place with 2 clubs attacked in a number of weeks (Augher also).
