Title: Mayo coming in under the radar?
Post by: kerryforsam19 on March 31, 2019, 03:29:30 PM
With all the talk of our lads winning this game handy. We're a team made up of young lads. Mayo have all the experience and now have the bench to win the tight games. Aidan O'Shea who has been player in the league is in the form of his life. Young lads like Ruane, Plunkett, Diskin and McDonagh have stepped up allowing Boyle and Moran to be impact subs. Mayo are the form team having beaten us below in Tralee. James Horan changed the menatality. Other years mayo looked down at league and Connacht titles expecting to peak in September. Are Mayo coming in under the radar??

No. They're washed up, worn out, too many miles on the clock, gone to the well too many times etc etc. They did too much celebrating too after the final. The cheek of them going round the pitch celebrating with the fans. Aido took too many selfies too without mr flynns permission so that's definitely put the kybosh on us

It was Kerry that tried to come in under the radar with the usual oul young team guff, trying out a few lads, yerra we will see where we are at etc.  Expect more of the same as the summer goes on. On the other hand we set out our stall from early on fielding experienced players with a sprinkling of newcomers.
