Good result yesterday in Arsenal game.
Need to capitalise today though and beat West Ham.

Jesus Christ!  :o  ;D 8)

Lucky win in the end after complacency set in after an excellent first half. Completely lost control of the game, similar to the one against Wolves a month or two back. Should be safe enough now with the league, but why did it take the West Ham equalizer to wake them up?

Arsenal's attention has now flipped to the Champions league, the PL is all but sorted.

Turf

36 wins for Slot now in his first 50 games.
In comparison Klopp won 26 of his first 50 while Fagan and Kenny both had 29.
Some going for Slot. In fairness to Klopp he didn't inherit a great squad but for Slot,a  guy who was supposed to struggle in his first season, 36/50 is a fantastic return.

All the cows haven't been milked yet. Until it's done it's not done.

The challenge is to keep doing it. Conte won a league in his first year at Chelsea and was sacked after his second season. Salah and VVD staying will be a big boost but the league has been poor enough this season with Liverpool the only club playing at a high level. They'll get it tougher next season for sure but at the end of the day Liverpool's name will go on the trophy and it doesn't say everyone else was shite on the roll of honour. Deserved champs but I think they'll definitely need to bring in a few good players to defend it.

Plus, NO ONE would be saying the league is poor if either Arsenal or City had mounted a serious title challenge.

The whole "league is poor" "argument" rests on Rodri's knee.

On the other hand, the title race HAS been poor, but that's not Liverpool's fault, just like it wasn't City's in 17/18, 20/21 and 22/23 or United's in quite a few of those seasons they won.
