So really by McGeeney starting Courtney it gives McNeice the message that he aint up to it.

It's nonsense to say Morrisson was injured. The lad was fit to play, was picked to play his first senior championship start. The way he was treated was disgraceful. No justification to do that to the man. If he was injured they wouldn't have named him or togged him out and would have had a different sub goalie. It smacks of panic by management. Bad move.

And when the keeper hurt himself - Morrison was warming up to come on.

A crazy tactic that didn't ever look like working. McGeeney saying that his first choice keeper was injured was bullshit. He even warmed up at one stage.

All this tactic did was develop into a talking point that glosses over the real issues for Armagh. Bottom line is that Armagh are not progressing under McGeeney. To me they have good players but it's just not happening
