With the euro, its transactional value is backed by the ECB reserves and the wealth resources of the euro zone.
Who or what backs the value of the bitcoin?  Is its value based on a similarity to the value of   Picasso doodle  or a rare postage stamps,  is the value notional?

Would anyone know what sort of fee i'd be looking at for planning permission in NI for putting up a large tent that would be used for car detailing?

https://www.dancovershop.com/uk/product/storage-shelter-pro-7x7x3-8-m-pvc-w-skylight-grey.aspx

It would be well hidden off the road down a private lane and the neighbours wouldn't cause any bother in reporting it for not having permission only problem is it would be technically a commercial property and i wouldn't want it to affect any insurance issues

So you even need PP for temporary structures?

According to NI planning website the 2 catagories it requires planning permission for is because its over 30m2 and not being used for domestic purposes
Would it not be cheaper to  hire somebody else to do the detailing?

A minor enough tweak to Proposal B would solve a lot of problems, it would mean;
- the top teams all get a go at proper knockout
- the weaker teams would still have the chance of making the AI  knockout stages
- there would be a clear advantage to being in D1 vs D2, D2vD3 and D3vD4
- the Tailtean Cup would have a reward

Instead of 6-3-1-1, change it to 4-2-1-1 that makes the ďPlayoff Roundí
Held at a neutral venue with the winners progressing to the Quarter Finals with home advantage when they get there. Top team in D1 plays D4 winners, D1 second plays D3 winners so also an advantage to finishing as high as possible in D1 to reduce risk of dead rubbers.
Losers of Playoff Round go to Qualifier R2.

Teams 5-8 in D1 and teams 3-6 in D2 play in AI Qualifier R1. Seeded according to league placement but neutral venues. Winners go to Qualifier R2 , losers are finally out.

4 Losers from Playoff Round and 4 winners from Qualifier R1 play in Qualifier R2, with the winners progressing into quarter-final. Open draw but cannot have a repeat pairing from Playoff Round.

Bottom 2 in D1 relegated to D2 and replaced by top 2 in D2.
Bottom 2 in D2 provisional relegated (see next point) and donít get to play in Sam Maguire.  But they do play Tailteann along with D3 and D4 teams.
Winner of D3 promoted to D2 for next season, along with winners of Talteann

My explanation has probably made it seem more convoluted than it is, but itís quite similar to proposal B.
Convuluted?  no it's just bull.  Prob B gone for a walk on the wild side,  4211   ;D

Ah jaysus, Will Ferrell? Iíve never found anything heís ever done in any way funny.

Robin Williams the same. He always reminded me of a child sugared up to the tits on sweets, who should be hit a slap in the bake and told to sit the f**k down.

Good Will Hunting?? A masterpiece

And Doubtfire!

Doubtfire is fine. Because itís not him being him. You can sort of pretend it really is an aul doll. When he stops the stupid voices and dicking about, I could get through some of his stuff but I tend to avoid him if I can.

Never seen Hunting. Sounds very tedious.

Good Will Hunting he is brilliant, shows he can actually act a bit.

Anyone watching Maid on Netflix? Surprised me how good it actually is.

Yip Maid is good, yer one cant catch a break, based on a true story.
A message to those who don't get Robin Williams,  that's not a Robin William's issue.
Maid will stroll the tv drama awards, it has a superbly talented cast, the maid/young mom  is luscious in every scene she's in (artistically speaking), so good she reminds me of Paula Beer.

I think locking Mo up in a limited air tight container wouldn't be an issue with most people, these guys are vermin, soulless people.

Making a living off trafficking people, who'll probably in most cases be slaves to pay off their debt owed for getting into the country
Mo was just a well paid errand boy in the scheme of that criminal enterprise.

I thought it bit odd that the investigation team referred to him as Mo and not full name or family name.
Another odd thing (imo), the documentary team had full access to Mo's interrogation footage as well as cam video of him dwelling on his fate in private moments in his cell. That documentary has put him up front as the hapless character, the face which represents all the ugliness of the criminal enterprise and the horror consequences of this one, even though they were all dead by the time it was his turn at the wheel.

He still didnít have to do it and he knew what he was doing, he knew what could happen and trafficking like this happens every day no doubt. I hope he never gets out, along with the rest that was involved.
He's still at the lower end, it's the other 3  who you should be directing the most of your angst against, yet you and most everybody else just gangs up on Mo, the face that was imposed upon the grizzly gang by that documentary.
That's tabloid mentality, not thinking too deep about the conspiracy, just string Mo up because that all you see, the dopey looking sap. You're tabloid fodder  ;D

Zappa, a 2 hour documentary about the bould Frank will be aired on Friday BBC 4

The blurb
'The documentary team was granted exclusive access by Frank's wife Gail to a vast collection of unreleased music, movies, incomplete projects, unseen interviews and unheard concert recordings. Much of these were deteriorating and in danger of being lost forever'.

I think not rewarding 6th place in D1 a place in the AI yet rewarding 3rd place in D3 a place in the AI and winners of D3 and D4 as a joke. Top tier teams could quite easily linger around 3rd spot in D2 for years
You're picking the very worst hypothetical and making a meal of it.

There's no system without downsides. As a Dub it's easy for me to say that there should be completely separate B and C championships like every county has for their clubs (inter and junior). And the only way you get into the top echelon is to win Inter (or Tailteann or whatever you want to call it), and that would make winning such a championship a massive achievement with a massive reward (like every inter championship in every county). However, managers, players and fans in the weaker counties don't want that, and they are the important voice, but they do want to play more competitive games.

Proposal B offers this.

Yes, there is the argument that having the Top 8 play 7 championship games against each other will only improve them further. But one of the real benefits on the new system is that it allows reward for Div 2, Div 3 and Div 4.

Is it easier to come 3rd in Div 2 or win Div 3/4 compared to coming 6th in Division 1? Yes. But so what.
I think it beggars belief that people are so concerned about the poor lads who came 6th in D1 and miss out on the knockout stages.
They've had 7 games at top championship level and they've failed to make the top 5. Their last couple of games will have been real do or die affairs. In the vast majority of years their last game will effectively be a knockout game, i.e. lose and you're out.

So in summary they deserve to be out after 7 games and a heap of losses. Allowing an extra team qualify will just devalue the league stages. This seems to be on the cards for change, but it would be a mistake and a case of people not thinking through the consequences.

As for deliberately trying to come 3rd in D2 each year? Very difficult to do in practice and the benefit and prestige of playing in D1 should ensure fair play anyway.
A heap of losses?
Tyrone finished 6th in 2017 with 7 points. Another time, 4 teams who finished 4,5,6&7th ended up all together on 6 points. There is a thin line between 6th place and those above, oft times the difference being down to the team  who plays  4 at home or 4 away.
Is that the best a 6th place team did for all the years you looked? Lost 3 and drew 1 and had 5 teams finish ahead of them. They would have known exactly what was needed over their last 2 or 3 games and failed to do it.
Allowing more Div1 teams in would make a lot more games meaningless instead of the excitement that would be there with only 5 making it.
Lost 3 and drew one  or won 3 and drew 1, is that a heap of losses or a heap of wins? Earning 6th place in div 1  under prop Bís format would mean 6th best county, whatever about the merits of the relegated 2.
Iíd have the 2nd place Div 2  go into the play-offs and no reward for the 3rd place failure. With only 7 games played in the league there would still be plenty of excitement to go around. Rewarding the 3rd place failure in div 2 is just a sop to get votes.

A lot of shite shows on that list. I take it thatís not in order? As band of brothers is way down the list and it is possibly the best pieces of TV ever made. One of favourites on there is The Shield. Loved that show and even better that was loosely based on a true story. I canít see my favourite show of all time on it either, Gomorrah

Great shout, Gomorrah is top drawer.
Band of Brothers is sheer class. The Shield is more than loosely based on a true story, the Shield  story line was actually way ahead of its time. The BBC podcast Bad Cops tells the incredible true story of the rise and fall of Baltimoreís elite Gun Trace Task Force,  hero villain Sgt. Wayne Jenkins had a a lot of 'Vic' in him and much more. They literally waged war against the citizenry,  with brazen armed robberies and framing evidence against.

One of the worst waste of time series ''Lost'' at 19.

Christ that was Rubbish!

The punchline that everyone was dead was guessed early on, the script-writers denied this and had no plan B.

Proceeded to add loads of red-herring sub plot stories to disguise this.

Dead? Christ the night!! Spoiler alert
I'll chalk that one off the watch list.
That was a stunning spoiler though, the best so far?  There's no comeback from that one.

That Ref got left up in the mountains by all accounts.
By all accounts? I think you were the one taken for a ride ;D  That Wicklow ref was just sitting on the back of his hatchback changing out of his gear, two players pushed him right in and closed the hatch door on him. The ref's son was sitting in the front seat and was obviously startled to feel/hear the loud thud. Probably the ordeal lasted 5 seconds and would have been labelled a harmless prank, a fast one, but the media got hold of the headline and 'Livelined' it. The headline has stuck in the national psyche ever since.  For the ref, the truth was probably more embarrassing but the fable made him a legend.
For sure,  no one would have been pushing that Leitrim Co Final ref into the back of any boot.

For Cross in their hey day, Ulster was just a mile marker along the way to AI champions.
