Zulu

Wouldn't agree, he's doing very well and certainly not favouring one team.

Cmon CBS. Dingle finding it very difficult once they hit the 45. More composure up front needed by CBS.

That was a ridculious yellow there.

maigheo

Dingle have done the two in a row.Wonder when that was last done?

Zulu

Well done PCD, fully deserved. Roscommon can have no complaints.

Syferus

Strange thing to say Zulu.

Great fight by CBS but from midfield up the lads lacked composure a lot of the time. Still, so close to a brilliant win. Great season regardless. Well done to Dingle.

Shrewdness

No doubt that the best team won, fully deserved.

Jinxy

Roscommon needed to nail those two goal chances they had in the 2nd half.
Were never going to score enough points to win.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Rossfan

Best team won. You need more than 1 forward to win an A I.
Ref-- less said the better.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Zulu

What do mean? PCD were much the better side and deserved their win. Sometimes teams can feel hard done by but not today. They didn't lack composure up front as they had hardly anyone up there in the first place.

Well done to dingle the best side won, if ever we need to know why Kerry sides have won so many All Irelands it was seen once again in the final 7 minutes today. Credit to the Roscommon students they probably weren't expected to win the Connacht title but today they were leading the All Ireland final with 7 mins to go and missed a few other goal chances.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

twohands!!!

After the goal went in for CBS with ten minutes remaining, the reaction from the Dingle lads was fierce composed. The benefit of their experience stood them massively in this spell.

I think the wide tally of 15 to 5 or thereabouts gives a lot of insight into the game.

If the Kerry lads had their shooting boots on it could have been a much more comfortable win for them.

As for the comments on the ref, I thought he had an extremely solid performance.

Le'ts not rewrite what transpired before our eyes only a few minutes ago. Most of Dingle's wides were caused by them being unable to break down CBS's defence and taking pot shots from bad angles and bad situations in frustration. It wasn't them missing sitters against a much inferior team.

No it's wasn't a case of them missing sitters against a much inferior team, but there's no doubt that Dingle were the superior team on the day and by quite a bit in my opinion.

They were just about the better team.

Zulu

Nonsense, they were far the better team. If you can't accept that then take off the primrose glasses. No shame in Roscommon losing to that PCD team but trying to make out the game was something it wasn't is only doing a disservice to the young CBS players who never gave in and fought to the end. They wouldn't appreciate being patronised I'm sure.
