Just a quick poll to see people's thoughts on the new rules. Fairly simple, you have 5 votes so pick yes or no for each rule. If you're unsure what to think of a rule leave it out. This isn't for discussion thread we already have that this is just to guage people's opinions.

GAA Discussion / Cork v Tipp 10th June
June 06, 2017, 09:53:48 PM
Ask me 3 weeks ago I'd tell you I couldn't see us losing and would've been very confident, since then we have been decimated with injuries and we've gone from looking at who we have to leave out to wondering who we actually have to step in and struggling to put square pegs in round holes. Cork will be massively fired up anyway and want to "put us back in our place". This isn't being cute and talking us down, really worried for what might be in store.

GAA Discussion / Division 3 thread?

Has it been deleted or what's the story?

Very poor performance from us today but brilliant results all round. It now means we are one win from two games from promotion. Win against Louth next week and they can't pass us on head to head and if we do lose that it will be a winner takes all game between ourselves and Armagh final game.

Even though we were poor today another great spread of scorers from us, in our last 3 games we've had 9, 10 and today 11 different scorers, great to not be a county who rely too heavily on one or two players.

Whats the general opinion here, it'll be a nice game to watch with mayo having too much class, experience and cuteness for tipp and win while holding us at arms lenght. To be honest thats how i see it, i hope we give a good account of ourselves, a shock isnt beyond us but thats exactly what it will be, a massive shock

I know this is early to be starting and should wait till the annual Kerry v Cork final but said id start it anyway.

Looking forward to our game against cork this sunday, we've shown no reason for optimism this year yet but still im expecting a performance out of us. Cork have had as equally a bad year to us to date and have had a long wait since their last game. Our game against waterford was a nothing game really as we didnt need to get out of second gear but we did get some valuable gametime to players who have been missing with long term injuries. This is the first time all year we will have our strongest 15 available to us (excluding footballers trying to hurl and couple of lads in america). Im not saying we will come out and win this game but with cork being as low as they are id be very disappointed if we just roll over and give them an facile win. Im still counting this year as 1 step back and hoping next year will be two step forwards when the squad gets that bit older and we get a few players back who we have been missing this year, having said that we are losing possibly our best player after this campaign who will be very hard to replace

On clare kerry i can only see kerry running our comfortable winners, they are well ahead of anything else in munster. Clare have had a brilliant year getting promotion and would like to see them go on a good run in the qualifiers

I know we have championship threads and its abit early to be talking about qualifers but seeing as plenty of people have giving out about the A & B sides of the draws the last couple of years said id throw this up to see. Firstly is it as simple as If youre in the blue bracket you are in A and orange bracket you are in B. If so how do people think the strength of each A & B are precieved this year?

A: Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Roscommon, Leitrim, Sligo, Derry, Tyrone, Cavan, Armagh, Laois, Wicklow, Dublin, Louth,Carlow, Meath

B: Tipperary, Waterford, Cork, Mayo, London, Galway, Monaghan, Down, Donegal, Fermanagh, Antrim, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Kildare

The American football type!! Would there be any interest here in starting up one?

Tipp very big favourites 1/6. Brilliant having it as a triple header, pretty confident if we perform to a good standard we will have too much for louth, looks like we have a good number of players who are touch and go to make it though and midfield is where we are struggling with injuries particularly

Like the title says, with both teams minors playing at 12 should they not have both teams seniors playing directly after so as to encourage more in for the minor game

Kicks off this weekend with clare very limerick. Will be surprised if clare don't come through this. Next week tipp v Waterford,  if we don't win this it'll be a massive step back in our football progression.
