No more internal criticism really, may be a shake-up in Donegal after this.

Re Monaghan, yer man reckoned that the supporters' celebrations were unnecessary, given the stage they are at. Much better to be doing your celebrating in April I suppose.

Well I know Tyrone certainly wouldn't want to meet Sligo.
Well they won't have to worry about it for the QF's anyway!

Really hard to know, Cork maybe, would prefer not to meet Meath anyway. It might be no harm to get one of the two winners from tonight, if only for the fact that they only have a week to recover. But at this stage any team left will be decent at least. We'll know this time tomorrow anyway.

Oh but of course - was going to be tough to lift themselves after the Ulster Final, but they did it in style. The Donegal whingefest in full swing on Ocean now, not least about the Monaghan followers.

Sounds like Monaghan had won Sam, judging by the noise in the background on Ocean.

Seems as though nearly every spot in Cavan has got a mention at this stage, bar possibly Ballinagh, Virginia and Ballyjamesduff. Can't understand why.

Anyway the OMS list - Gort, Ballyhaunis, Ballaghaderreen, Tuam, Ballinasloe, Athlone, Granard (had to be), Bundoran, Kells, and our own county town, hard to defend it, certainly certain areas anyway. Not as travelled as others here so can't offer an opinion on many of the potential towns listed already.

I was shocked that "residents against racism" were on the radio supporting them the other day.
By there very name this was almost a suggestion that if you didnt support their cause it was through racism.
My reasons for wanting them moved was to do with safety reasons for the children in the camp and the motorists on the m50. Nothing to do with being racist.
Sure them loony left nutjobs don't want anyone deported, no matter how much they are gangsters/fraudsters etc. All for an open borders policy. SF amongst others has associated with them in the past too. Best ignored, but the media indulge them at times like these. Pavee Point lowered themselves badly on this one, may do them no good in the long run, especially if they seek funding from the Gov't. Anyway the Roma are gone home now so it's time to move on.

Galway v Leitrim, and there was more than one of them! Plus they were on the pitch for 2/3 mins, no steward bothered to go near them.

Sligo are on everyones list of counties the qualifiers would want to meet. Lets be honest. Who would want tyrone, dublin, kerry over sligo !!!! They are probably still on the piss and would be underdogs against whomever they play I reckon.
Maybe so, then again if Galway had won it would be no different - the qualifier teams would want them too.

Think we'll certainly not be rolling over for anyone in the QF, would prefer to avoid Cork for now though. No repeat on '75 on the cards anyway.

There is a poll on the RTE news home page on this. They aren't getting much sympathy.
And they deserve none either. Typical chancers playing the sympathy/bleeding hearts card to force the state to indulge their whims, off with them back to Romania.

Fair enough, but their Intermediate team has been strong for some time now, and a few of those players certainly appeared capable of getting into the senior team, which hasn't really changed in the last few years, and could do with a shake-up IMO. Fell to Coolera (twice) and Bunninadden in recent years, and were lethargic in doing so (except the second half in '05), particularly in last year's semi. The players moving up are (AFAIK), Danny Grady, Raffertys X2, Cryans X2, Candon and someone else whose name escapes me. As you can see that makes a big change to the Intermediate team's prospects. Will have to wait for the Champion to see just what they lined out in each game though.
