QuoteTough draw for us, Armagh are improving while we look to be waning. They'll fancy their chances of taking down a "big" team here I'd say.

Have we ever played in championship before?

1950 semi final.

We all know what happened after that.

It's ON!!!
its a sifn its a sign .
though im nearly sure we played in a 1/4 final or some thing since then . I rember armagh giving mayo a good beating on ther day . it was in croker maybe a league Semi?

League semi final 2004 I think.

Yeah, Paul McGrane kicked Ronan McGarrity in the head as he was lying on the ground

No he didn't.

Hard to believe we were arguing about it back then all those years ago, but yes, he did.

No, he really didn't and I believe I can prove it.

If you could that'd be great, genuinely. I only have a memory in my minds eye, and I'd love to put it to bed after 15 years. More than happy to stand corrected

We didn't qualify for the 2004 League semi-final!

;D

OK, Paul McGrane kicked Ronan McGarrity in the head in a match, sometime between 2000 and 2010

Before anything about the match have to say it was one of the most enjoyable away trips I was ever on , absolutely fantastic bunch the down supporters , we ended up staying after a long session of drink , put up in a house of a down player , all Ireland winning medal in the house too , can't praise their hospitality enough , classy bunch .

Thought we just did enough to win and didn't seem to have any interest as usual in doing any more than was required. Our defensive frailties showed again , just have to hope they are going to be working on it . Even when we deployed a sweeper sometimes it was poorly done ie Barrett running to the ball leaving the space he was supposed to be covering open and ff line was then man to man .

i came on to same the exact same thing. without a doubt the the nicest bunch of supporters and people i have  ever met at football game in Ireland in 30 years of going to games, and out from a club game against a Clare outfit years ago i have never had a bad word with anyone at a football game.
lovely ground, well organized, everyone so friendly, chatty and nice and really knowledgeable football people.

They were a bunch of animals that day alright

RIP.. Why was he called the flying doctor?  Would Padraig be the last of the all Ireland medal winners in mayo?

I think Prendergast is the last one left

I'm not wedded to a particular theory - I just think the notion of burning the entire city down is pointless. She could be portrayed as mad enough without all of that. And Cersi gets to die in the arms of her lover/brother by being crushed under the weight of said city is a shite way to end one of the major plot lines and characters.

Unfortunately he is still on the stolen sheep site stirring s..., we could transfer him back if ye want.

He completely lost the run of himself over the Xmas on the Non-GAA side of the board. Glad he made the decision to concentrate on local matters, didn't mind his football contributions but he was off the scale lunatic on other matters, and you could tell was starting to it all too seriously.

I never got why any one would want to ruin a good stake by adding the taste of burning wood to it.
are there for people who don't like the taste of meat? may for some thing without much of its own taste like chicken breat but steak that's a sin

Once you get the heat right, the flavour it imparts onto the steak is amazing. It's also how meat was originally tasted, long before before you started using your microwave

What's the point of a gas barbecue - i.e. a gas cooker outdoors?

You are still flame grilling, and you can add woodchips for the smokey smell. they're cleaner, quicker and easier to control temperature. I've had both, I love barbecues. With the wood chips in a burner adding smoke and smell, I think gas barbecues are just handier.

I have both, definitely prefer to cook over properly set hard wood lump char blended with coals. I find it's worth the effort. Have started doing large roasted joints of meat of a Sunday, simply superb.

I have the time at the moment and I enjoy it (Australian climate and lifestyle helps).

If you're short on time, and likely to only use it over the summer months, I'd go gas as it's a lot handier.
