dont think banty needs the money after the foot & mouth payout. think physio ( 20k ) and 2 trainers splitting the 79k balance. nice part-time job if u can get it.

cross locals are very gracious and gave the ogs a guard of honour this year when we travelled to cross for our league game. well one car load of boys who were stopped on the cullyhanna road by masked men, who said well done in winning the championship but yous wont win today and they wer right ;D

hound i was told that he played b yesterday did he not!!!!!!!!!!!. it was not havin a dig but saying it was silly for the young player who is returning from injury. my eye sight mightin be great on a bad night but a few harps men also said it was a knee injury but maybe not. ps have to say both minor teams derserve great credit for the performance in the final on probually the hardest night for football iv seen in a long time. they must have nearly frozen out on the pitch.

things must be bad on the player front when harps had to introduce a minor who is recuperating from a major knee injury and cant play mc rory cup football at the minute. he turned out last nite as well in the mick higgins final and had to retire injured with the knee problem. silly move and could have long term repercussions.

Lads dont be getting carried away ok il admit cross are a great team im just saying as past while theyve been ott in their physical approach its not how football should be played any1 with a bit of sense would admit cross have got away with murder in numerous games and any1 who knows anything about politics in football would know ballinderry always get a raw deal from the derry county board ie the james conway saga what a joke that was. Ps the shamrocks have consistinley won championships not bad for a we parish on the derry tyrone border plus we play our own players unlike cross who down the years and still to this day poach all the best players from parishes around them :) :). Oh forgot to mention they have no1 to play to win the championship in armagh most teams are rubbish bar maybe 2  :P.
having taken in the burren game it proves that derry football must be shit and indeed ballinderry must have gone to the dogs as they let coleraine beat them. at least cross are getting tough matches before going into the ulster championship.

some crying today. have to admit  that in the past cross did get a extra help but only in the armagh championship. aka keady 2004 v ogs in both matches and look what happened poor old henderson after, he retired with a guilty conscience. however rant over cross beat the shaftys fair and square and didnt need mc quillan. red francie showed the ballinderry hard men up in the past ;) thats their problem.

it wouldnt work, think of the many top of the range cars that would be stolen during a game ;)

In fairness lads, this was a fair heavy hit from behind on a fella not remotely expecting it. A lot of people saw it at the time. It was a cross sub who was steaming up and down the line warming up. impossible to know if there were verbals previously as the player was passing but it was a very heavy hit at full speed.
a lot of people saw it at time. ur correct there but you must not have seen it. it happened just at the time of the penalty and it was a cowardly act but not by a player or sub. a lot of people know who it was including neutrals. but im sure cross will identify him. ;)

as stated on another thread crossan is totally biased for st galls all year and should return to writing about silly junior soocer in north belfast. what a little twat cj is why didnt he try to play football instead of running around after the referee complaining about every decision. cross are no angels thats for sure and once again took no notice to ulster council regulations by not even wearing designated offical bibs and continually encroaching on the field. but good luck to them they know how to get away with it. was the sly dig not noticed by the linesman but im sure the galls water carrier wasnt too bad and im sure had his pint that evening.

I think whoever play cross in the next round will make it very hard for them.  Im not just saying this as a derry man, but if Coleraine do come through it might be just what the doctor ordered to beat cross, very fit, and as a few teams will testify in Derry, they dont give two hoots about tradition!  Although i do agree that tradition stands you in good stead this tme of year but only if the opposition allow it to.
setting a hyped derry team up again. time will tell

crossan is totally biased towards st galls as can be seen with articles all year. he should stick to discussing too bit junior football. but wait to you see the turn round now that galls are beat suddenly the mighty cross articles will appear. heaney etc dont have any love for armagh or their club teams.

I 'believe' you should stick to posting things you have a clue about - i'm certainly no O'Ds man but you are being very harsh on them with a ridiculous remark like that.

havin talked to a number of antrim men today i think they do have a regular disipline problem. a number of games this year including one FRIENDLY against an armagh team struggled to be finished due to o,ds men behaviour.
