More about Saturday next...

Saturday 30 August sees the first ever Gaelic games programme
fair hosted by the Cardinal Tomás ó Fiaich Memorial Library and
Archive in Armagh.

This is a unique opportunity for collectors of Gaelic games
programmes and other memorabilia to get together and deal or
exchange their material.

There will be a wide selection of items on display with
collectors and exhibitors coming from right across the country
for what promises to to be a refreshing change to the normal
avenues open to collectors. In recent times programmes have been
made available for for auction or online at highly inflted prices
beyond the range of many who collect for the love of it.

This event will have no auction and collectors old and new will
be free to trade and swap items or purchase them for a reasonable
some. Viewing starts at 10.00 am and more information on the
event is available for Roody or Dónal at the library on 028 3752
2981.

Personally, I would be against donating it to the museum in Croke
Park.  Who says they would ever get to display it in any form?  A
waste.

I speak as a collector though.

Send me an e-mail of the stuff you have and I'll give you an
honest appraisal of its worth.

To the fella looking for the '57 AIFF: I have a spare but are you
willing to pay the going rate for it?
