Great to see Summerhill and Ratoath. Good hard game going to extra time. Nothing against Ratoath but glad they didn't win again.

Some score by Barry Dardis here:

Questionable tackle here:

Enjoyable good tough game. Was hoping Kerry win but ultimately they couldn't get the scores and coughed up the ball too often.

Limerick completely took over after the goal. Kilkenny couldn't win a scrap in the Limerick half at all. Some poor decisions made as well by the cats playing short balls from sidelines and getting swamped. It's a long time since I saw Kilkenny look so ordinary. Hopefully someone can rise to Limericks level but I don't see the depth in talent in any of the other contenders to be honest. Kilkenny got no impact from the bench at all.

Hi all. I have the GB pass but I'm in Spain on holidays. Don't seem to be able to purchase the hurling final as a one off. BBC iPlayer is blocked abroad it seems. Any suggestions?

Been thinking now, getting out of Division 2 is still important but if you were Colm O'Rourke would you bother with the Leinster Championship next year. I never thought that would be something I'd ever say (or type) out loud but these are unprecedented times.

Save your powder for the All Ireland group stage might be the way to go. Perhaps that's what Mayo and Westmeath did this year.

Derry just ran out of steam and the shooting form that they had in the first half faded away as the legs got heavy. I Really thought they had Kerry shook in the first half especially Clifford. I think Kerry will come right in the final and win.

Great to win a title in Croker after 13 years but we have to build on this. Goals remain the same as this year. Win Div 2. Reach/Win Leinster final and at the group stage take a few scalps at the very least.

Down just need a bit more time. The Laois game probably didn't help perceptions a bit like our game against Cork at the start of the league.

Any idea of expected attendance? 40-50k?
Nearer the 40 I would have thought, maybe even less if Kilkenny and New York don't bring a wheen!  :D  It feels as if not as many Derry supporters travelling as v Gaillimh last year.  Croke Park have given an expected figure of 50,000 - so they might be in the know!! :o
If they had put the Meath-Down game on today it might have been close to a sell out.

Both teams had a good Tailteann campaign. Some good players developed. The TC is a good reboot.

The reality for both these counties - is that the Tailteann Cup was not what this competition was envisaged for?

I don't know how much was learned by both really?

Kept the squad together a bit longer and gave lads a chance to earn their place but the two Down games and Antrim were the only games that gave us a real challenge.

Division 2 and Leinster next year will be a different reality.

Much better second half and shooting improved massively. Jack Flynn was some man in the second half.

Is he Bernard's son?

No relation. Harnan and the McEntees are the only "legacy" players on the team really. Maybe there's others.

Poor shooting by both teams but we're somewhat on top.

We're going well but need to make it count on the board.

It's on the wrong day. Loads of people looking for tickets. Croker is sold out. Should have been on before Kerry Derry
