Marty there aren't loads of outside managers at top level county. Maybe down divisions.

I am not sure - BS would maybe know. Definitely looks good though.

Keenan has been a great addition for antrim this year - hardy wee boy. The other two wouldn't be too shabby either.

They had an AI in them around 2012 / 2013 but they have dropped off a good bit now hurling wise. I think football just has more clout in dublin. If Con O'Callaghan played hurling for dublin they'd be a much better team for it and you could likely say the same for a few of the footballers.

I don't know about distribution of money but be surprised if it were much different.

It was great and no call to change it too.

The hurling league (possibly more so division one) was no more than friendlies this year.

Used to happen in Dunloy but seems to have been nipped in the bud. Ridiculous that this was happening.

Between Laochra Gael and GAA Social my wife always asks me why I watch / listen to stuff that's so depressing  ;D  Seems to be the way of it these days - you want to talk to someone then they need to have some sort of back story. (No a dig at anyone just a marketing thing - I haven't listened to this week's one but IMO the Bells are modern day heroes and are just great people so while I have no doubt it will be a bit sad I'll be very interested to listen to them too).

Sitting back on a lead. You see it happen all the time. Entertaining game between two very evenly matched teams.

Tends to be twitter I think. But for twitter there'd be no Jamie Bryson and I don't think there'd be the rise there is in the south either.

They were very good in the league last year too bu dropped off come championship. Maskey, if he's not away, is probably helping. They must have a few at county too.

Yeah - you'd be hopeful we'd go through. I don't think the final appearance as a minimum is a reasonable expectation mind you. Knockout stages and see how we go from there. Same standard as any year tbh so it's a good test to see whether we've made much progress.

You wouldn't expect Dublin to take us for granted as we drew last year though and were on a par in the league.

Tough enough group. Wexford are not a bad side. You would still hope we go through. Tipp have fell away a lot so hopefully that continues...
